Its been a while i've visited a pub. but this is amazing experience, its not the most amazing pub. but its one of the best one i can say. yes specially the staff they really helpful and kind. as i remember one staff member is Joe and he is a wonderful guy who treat all customers in a friendly way. and the crowd they always so cheerful and calm. what a nice place to visit if you want to get a chill beer and meet some good people
We arrived just after opening time, so the pub was basically empty. Service was excellent, we all went to the bar as separate small groups. Atmosphere was OK, however after about an hour, things started to liven up.Service: 5/5
Fantastic pub in a fantastic location. Brilliant choice of drinks and the staff are all amazing. Super friendly and accommodating, can’t do enough for you. Food is fabulous! Simple but reasonably priced and very tasty! New darts board recently installed so I’m learning a new skills. TV’s for sport so a great place to come and watch the games. My favourite pub by far.
A good old fashioned pub that is thankfully still around. This place has been here for a long time and hopefully many years to come. Located just outside the Kelham Island area and close to the city centre, this is one place that has survived. A good traditional place but up to date, ideal for a few beers and relaxing
Went in here with some friends for some food and drinks and it was a very nice little pub. It has some food options which are decently priced. The staff were nice and the food was enjoyed. Managed to catch the end of the world cup as well
I must have driven past this pub 1000's of times and would never consider drinking here. Never in a million years I would have thought that this area of Sheffield would be trendy to visit. Fab pub great beer. Good mix of customers and amazing decor. The tiled exterior is fabulous.
Nice old style pub with good atmosphere and service and decent selection of beers
Another yuppie bar. It was 100 times better and busier all week 20 years ago when Steve and Tracey ran it, full of Sheffielders that travelled from all sides of Sheffield to frequent. People like Jack Wasden from Hunters Bar, propping the bar up telling his tales of travelling the UK with Brendan Ingle assembling boxing rings for demos and bouts to playing football for Sheffield FC to working lifelong as a joiner, a character worth a 100 yuppies. All Sheffield born and bred people, in and out of this pub and the Nags opposite run by Pam and Chaz in those days, now demolished. On a Saturday two blokes used to visit in the afternoon in a car doing their rounds selling pork pies, cheese, ham and stuff, quizz nights, pool, darts etc, a great pub stuffed with memorabilia, a lot of brass plaques. Two I remember amongst the brewery dray plaques were Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday brass plaques all polished by Steve. Characters replaced by plastic people
Nice looking Kelham Island pub. Was pretty quiet when we were there Thurs pm but great range of beers on tap. Part of the Kelham Island pub crawl.
What… another sports bar filled with tracksuit wearing w4nk3r5. Even the new decor is horrid. It was so much better when it had the beer mats on the wall and no TV’s.Service: 5/5
