Lush food. I had the smothered chicken and chocolate fondant. My hubby has lasagna and cherry cheesecake. All fantastic.

Back on September 8th 2017 I took my first intercontinental trip. It was to the beautiful country of Wales. I flew in for the closing of the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff. My daughter met me that Saturday. She was doing a semester abroad in London. We live in Texas. During my trip I stayed at the Celtic International Hotel. I had asked the young lady at reception where I can go and get authentic Welsh cuisine. She suggested The Blacksmith Arms as her favorite. So my daughter and I drove our rental car down to Llanmaes to the Blacksmith Arms. At first it was a little weird because when we walked in everyone stopped talking and briefly looked at us. Then the young lady who met us at the door took us to our seats and gave us a menu. All of it looked so good. She came back and asked if we were ready to order. I told her it all looked so good, but I didn’t know what to order. I told her I wanted something that is authentic to the area. Something Welsh. She told me one of her favorites was the steak and ale pie. Sold. We will have two of those. Oh my gosh, it was so good. It may seem like I’m exaggerating a bit. But no, I am not. It was so good and delicious. I know it’s been five months since our visit, but it seems like it was only yesterday. For I that I thank you. Thank you for the lifetime memories and have a great day.

Made a large group booking but they didn't get our order right despite preordering though the food selection was good and it tasted great. Reasonable prices too
