My children love this park, it's suitable for a range of ages with 2x baby swings, 2x swings , a see saw, springy things, small climb and slide set and a bigger one too. Plus the bonus of picnic bench, climb area and net swing. There is ample grass space for picnics/dog walks and there is a skate park. The space that's there you'd think they'd of built a bigger park but it's good all the same.
The park is a great walk woodpeckers and people views are great ill be back later in summer and winter
The skate park has a few different features and is a good size, allthough there are a few areas which require repairing one of the quarters has a sharp chunk of metal sticking out, be careful on the grass as there is glass, dog muck and other items you don't want to be stepping on. Graffiti would look good if was done with artistic flair looks more like a chav has got hold of some spray paint and doesn't have a clue how to use it.
Although the facilities at the park are well adapted to the local community, including a skate park and a more traditional play area for the younger children, the park is often riddled by litter and anti-social behaviour from the teens at aforementioned skate park. This creates a rather worrying atmosphere and can sometimes ruin a visit.
My son Carl pepper loved the skate park along with his many friends they were his family they spent so much time there having fun growing up sadly Carl died 26th December 2019 I would love to put a plaque up here in his memory
Very poor, as there are teenagers drinking there a lot, leaving broken vodka bottles strewn on the paths. They then turn their attention at the babies swings and overturn them until they are wrapped so tight around the bar, you cannot use them.
Nice space to exercise your dog. Although it's immediately clear not all dogs are cleaned up after :/ Glass all over the centre circle so take care there!
Fantastic, great couple of hours in the snow with sledge and maken memories, both the boys seen school friends which is nice to see them all play together.
Fantastic park! Brilliant place to burn out motorcycles
Fantastic park with tennis courts, skate park, plenty of grass to play on.
