Popped in for a pint of maggots and found a true alladins cave for any angler Customer service is a mile in front of other larger stores taking time to explain everything I wanted to know and even though the shop front appears small they stock absolutely everything and anything you might ever want or need and for any style of fishing too so thanks for taking the time to go above and beyond.
Lots and lots of waters and good value for money.
Really helpful and honest. Having not fished for 25+ years I needed a full set of gear and plenty of advice. I got much more than my money's worth. Rob was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Will be going back there whenever I need anything interesting the future.
Is permanently closed waste of time and money
My 2 young lads have recently shown an interest in fishing so we decided to pay a visit. What a fantastic experience we had. The chap that served us was amazing. He explained about everything we needed. The prices were very reasonable. I even asked about buying extra equipment but was advised to save the money in case my lads lost interest. Now how honest is that! 5*****
Went shopping today - returning to fishing after 30 years. Really appreciated the excellent knowledgable service. Never spent a penny more than I needed to. Thanks Guy’s for all your advice and help.
Great shop, very helpful, one of the last true tackle shops that has been going for years and years . they have their own brand of tackle gold label staff have lots of knowledge and have time for you unlike some other shops out there !
Fantastic service!! Rang earlier in the week to enquire about equipment needed to start fishing and Rob was very helpful. Went in the store when reopened on the 15th June 2020 and Rob couldn't have been more attentive. Guided and advised my son and me on the type of equipment needed and how to set it up as well as places to fish and so on. Couldn't recommend more!! Thanks Rob
Fantastic shop with a great owner, so helpful & knowledgeable. Loads if stock & supplies, everything you could want are either there on hand or can be ordered specially for you.
