Went here today for the first time for a family meal for 6 people. 3 course meal for less than 17 pound on a Sunday can't go wrong. The place was clean and tidy, there was plenty of parking and outside seating for the summer.Food: 5/5
Went here for a random date night and wasn't dissapointed! The place itself is lovely and welcoming,the staff were welcoming,lovely and friendly. The food was lovely! We both loved our homemade meals! Very decent value too! Definatly be back!
Called on spec Wednesday lunch time and they were much busier than expected. However,found us a table and food wasn't as long as it might have been . It was very tasty and staff were friendly and efficient. A pleasant environment and we will go again. Close to five stars.
Booked on messenger - but no booking was made. The menu we were given just one between two of us was printed upside down which was a tad annoying. Garlic mushrooms were lovely - but a spoon needed ! Chicken pate again lovely. The steak was perfect, my husband enjoyed the curry/rice / chips mix . Pudding was slightly tough. All in all a good visit. I'd go again
First time we have been here .only booked it last minute food and service was excellent. 3 year old grandson really enjoyed the steak pie off the kids menu made a change from the usual kids menu of nuggets and sausages. We will definitely be backFood: 5/5
Great meal. Six of us went and had the set 3 course meal for £17.95. Good choice for all 3 courses. Everyone enjoyed their meals their chips are especially nice. Good value.Food: 5/5
Went for a pre Christmas meal with friends. Good choice and nice food. The drinks were a little pricey but the price of the meal made up for it. Good atmosphere and a lovely log fire Food: 5/5

Friendly helpful and polite staff, fairly spacious dining area, not at all cluttered or squeezed in like some can be. Great service, I was advised to book as it gets busy. The best roast beef I have tasted for a long time, very generous portions, super roast potatoes, delicious 'roast gravy' although I am not too sure about that pickled red cabbage. Huge piece of very tender steak and ale pie topped with excellent suet pastry,. Top dollar but absolutely worth it, will be aiming to squeeze in a pudding next time as I will definitely be visiting again. Parking: Spacious on-site car oark and small area outside on road edge
Managed to squeeze three of us in for Sunday lunch at late notice, staff were helpful and polite and the service was quick. Food was excellent and would definitely recommend to others. Parking: Large car park area with plenty of spaces at the time of out visit 12.30pm on a Sunday
