Brilliant service and amazing food! We were originally seated in a very noisy room with a lot of kids, so we requested to move to a quiet area, they moved us without complaints to a very quiet and nicely cleaned room. The food and drinks came as they were made, amazingly quick service overall to say how busy it was the how high the quality of the food was. I've never had something fill me up this much, and very good prices for the quality. The waiters and waitresses were all very polite and kind with bringing us our food and taking the plates away.
Would definitely recommend giving this place a visit especially if you have young children! They have an amazing outdoor play area and also a little indoor barn area too that costs £3 per child to enter! The restaurant is a huge American style diner with a whole American yellow school bus inside that you can actually sit in. The decor is great and the food is delicious too! Then there's also an ice cream bar just next to the entrance of the diner with a large selection of ice cream flavours that all sound absolutely delicious I particularly enjoyed the cinnamon crunch flavour. The last thing I enjoyed was the views from outside, Billy bobs is in the middle of loads of hills and fields and was just wonderful to look at!
We absolutely loved it here!! The staff are very friendly, welcoming and efficient! It has a great atmosphere with perfect period background music. Outside there is a brilliant play area for children Which thankfully the weather stayed warm! The food was excellent very tasty and great portions so nobody will be disappointed, the shakes were thick and tasty my only complaint is that there isn't one in Sheffield, so looks like we'll have to move closer for more regular visits in the future I would highly recommend Billy Bob's to everyone for great American themed food and service!!
Fun diner, in a very pretty location. Visited here for the first time on a Saturday around 3pm. We booked a table and were sat in the adults 'gas station-themed' dining area. It wasn't busy here but outside was super busy, this place is huge! My cheeseburger was delicious. I added gherkins and straw onions. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. I unfortunately very underwhelmed by the Cajun fries. The fries themselves didn't live up to expectations, and the seasoning was bland. I had a few nibbles of my partner's BBQ platter, everything was nice but the portion wasn't quite "American sized". The ribs and the cornbread were a little dry. I'd definitely come back, though. I'm lactose intolerant and would love to see some vegan/ lactose free milkshakes on the menu.
I can only speak as a child-less adult that likes Burgers & Ice-cream, but would highly recommend a visit! Their American-style soda fountain drinks are 10/10 and the food is pretty good quality. Lots of cool Americana style gimmicks, decor and even an old school bus! There’s an adults-only dining section too so you won’t be swamped by kids if you don’t have any yourself Parking: Never struggled to park here, huge free carpark!
Different location, same great food and service as myerscough. Great portion size, good price for what you get and decent variety on the menu. I’ve just about tried most things on the menu between both sites now and none not have disappointed or left me feeling like “I wouldn’t have that again”. Friendly staff and fast service. The addition of the summer drinks is a nice change too, the raspberry iced tea was spot on. Vegetarian options: Haven’t tried any but there is a full page to dedicated to vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: Very good at dealing with allergy restrictions, specifically peanut and tree-nut allergy. Parking: Plenty of parking but be sure to book a table before coming.
Spent a good few hours here. If you're in the area then definitely worth a visit. The quesadilla were and they have a wide array of ice cream flavours. Kids loved the outside play area and also enjoyed the inside area as well
We visited last year when camping nearby and we loved it. We were excited to try dinner here again. It didn’t let us down. The food was amazing. Genuinely 10/10. I had the nachos - starter and we all had the pastrami bagel. Incredible. The drinks and ice creams were all fab too. A must for families. The kids love the play park and American theme.
Dog friendly, large kids park, classic shakes and music, great food. Best to book for inside seats, else seems outside is great in the sun. We will be back. Meny in pics Parking: Large parking area. We are a lgv and we got in fine while busy Kid-friendliness: Park and space galore. Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth walk ramp the whole way to the door. No issues
Amazing food, great atmosphere and lovely staff. They're also savvy enough to have a section specifically for people visiting without children, which is great for someone like me with sensory issues surrounding noise, because it's also a great place for kids to have tasty food and fun. I was really pleased with their veggie and vegan options, and their milkshakes are out of this world!! I'll definitely be going back
