I used to visit very very regularly and sometimes the service and waiting times are good , sometimes poor. Old knackered carpet has been changed recently but it's still cramped in the restaurant. Wished the front door was fixed as its cold in the winter because the door does not close properly. The food has got better from a few years back , and the recession has seen a modest price increase in the food menu, however the menu is not which that adventurous. My last bill however left me shocked . A 600ml Cobra has been £4.95 for quite a while. Now it's £6.50 !!!! That's quite a jump. Despite having a good relationship with many of the staff , I'm afraid my visits to the BEST INDIAN IN MUCH WENLOCK the only Indian in Much Wenlock will be much less frequent.
It was a Monday evening we visited so it was quiet. However the food and service, we thought, was good.Food: 5/5
After reading several negative reviews, we decided that we would try Bilash again after 4 years we are not local!. The takeaway meal was ready as per the 35mins quoted. The man behind counter/bar was very polite. I always rate a meal by wether you want to finish it or not. I was left soaking up the madras sauce with the naan bread! The salad and raita were an excellent accompaniment. I always rate and take notice of a review by the quality of grammar within. I did this on this occasion and was NOT dissappointed with the meal at all. Parking: 1 space already taken. No other spaces due to the protracted works next door at Bank
Excellent, tasty food! Especially like the bhuna, mushroom rice and garlic & coriander naan! Staff always friendly, food always piping hot. Highly recommend.
Visited Bilash Saturday just gone after it had been recommended. Came around the corner and saw the front of the Indian and I was shocked it looks like a road side cafe. Not very inviting at all. I wasn't really sure if I wanted to go in. Walked through the door and wow a dirty carpet that looked like a heard had trampled through it. Very tight tables. We were asked on numerous times had we booked which we had. We were sat down at a table and waited for someone to come over and give myself and my hubby a menu in the end we had to ask for a menu and drinks. And this seemed to be a typical thing for us through out the night. I do know that the kitchen we short staffed so they informed us. The food was enjoyable, apart from a very long wait. Once finished I thought I will order a coffee but again it seemed that, that had been forgotten. So in the end my hubby asked for the bill only to be asked what a cobra. Bill and cobra do not sound the same. We paid them the bill and we had to went say goodbye and thank you. We both felt that we were an inconvenience to the staff. The restaurant seem to be catering for take aways as people kept coming in and out past the tables to collect there orders. Which is not really what you want when you are trying to enjoy your meal. There should be a separate door or side for people to collect there food as it a very narrow restaurant. We will not be returning.
Food was lovely, service was poor. It seemed they were to busy on take away and even the people waiting for take away were complaining of waiting time. It took 10-15 minutes wait for a server to come and ask us if we wanted drinks. Starter was brought out 4 minutes after starter order was taken and then one of the gents said to a customer that you have to wait for good food?!?! Such a shame as I have been here many times and there alway very polite and happy to serve and never rushed. Maybe a bad evening.
Nice food curry was great , filthiest carpet I have ever seen in a restaurant slow service and no manners from some of the staff. Captive audience as the only curry house in the area.

Doesn't look much from outside and maybe in need of some updating, however the food was excellent! Balti's, Dansak, Tikka's all excellent and Naan breads very well cooked. Varied menu, including drinks menu with a very good choice of beers and wines .
Terrible place, the waiter was very rude and ignorant. Can't comment on food didn't stay to eat, walked straight out and went somewhere else Do not recommend.
