My bike broke down and I had to carry it to the bike warehouse. It had been a good bike but had probably done several thousand miles. The man who was working on that day said he’d look at it and advise me at every stage. The young man who was working there also kindly refilled my water bottle. In the end it worked out almost as cheap to buy a new bike as to have my old one repaired and risk having to throw more money at it. I called back into the shop and spoke to Keith and his wife. They were genuinely lovely people and it was obvious that he likes Yong. He showed me the breakdown on my old one and then showed me the Python bike which was on a reduced price. What a beauty. I agreed that my Raleigh should be retired. Two days later I ran the six miles from Whitstable to the shop. Keith had transferred everything from my old bike into the new Python and then readjusted the handlebars for me because they felt a bit low. I then rode home in what felt like a dreadful storm. I’mvery pleased with the bike and would not hesitate to recommend Keith and the shop.
Popped into the store today while out on a ride, having issues with the front derailleur on my bike, asked the two lads in store for some quick advice about adjusting it. I was told I had to pay £15 for a full adjustment of the gears and that if I didn't know what I was doing then not to bother as I would mess it up more. Very unhelpful service and seriously bad customer service. I will email upgrading my current bike next year and am planning in spending serious money on my next bike, I can assure you it will not be with this company. Just one last thing, I carried on my ride round to halfords and asked the lad in there for some help, he was working on another bike at the time, he took the bike straight off the stand and put mine on, 5 mins later I was off on the rest of my ride with everything working as it should. It's customer service like this that generates repeat business. Shame.
Great bike shop which I highly recommend. I broke my bike gears in Reculver and Marvin fixed me up and got me back on the road again whilst I waited. Great customer service, great prices and significantly better knowledge than anyone you will meet at Halfords. Genuine proper bike shop and Marvin is a gem.
I had a broken axel and asked them to get a new one. They told me a new one will come in 3 days but was waiting about 2 weeks because they kept on getting the wrong size. After that they said they can't get an axel the size I wanted so I had to buy a new hub. I was waiting 2 weeks for a new hub so in total I've been waiting about a month that I was so angry. I'm into biking a lot and know lots about biking. Even I could order it and get it done faster. The only thing that's keeping me a bit carm is Saracen gave me a wheel for the meantime. After a month they finally done it and got it sorted that I collected 8.30 because it was the day I went on holiday. Overall they know a lot about biking but it takes them a long time getting the parts to the bike shop
Very unhelpful, dreadful customer service, quoted one price by one member of staff, when I took the bike in, another member of staff said it would be double. Took the bike to Halfords, cost a fraction of Bike Warehouse and very helpful friendly staff.
Great shop, I went there today after my wheel was buckled and he said come back later and it'll be done and I came back later and he soda he couldn't straighten it fully but enough so it's rideable due to needing a new wheel and said he won't charge me. I recommend using Bike Werehouse more often.
