Good sized climbing centre. They have lots of walls for climbers, and a good amount of auto-belay walls for solo, as well as a bouldering section. They redo the walls once every month or two which works out great for me I go roughly once a week.nThere is a café area with seats and some snacks if you're planning to spend more time there.
Learned to top rope a year ago and been hooked since. Recently did our learn to lead course with Loz and she was great. Lovely gym with great staff and vibe, decently priced snacks and coffee
Booked in for a Belay course at Big Depot and it was amazing! I really felt like I learnt a lot and I think I have a good grasp on how to do it now. Joe was super helpful and really informative! I'll be booking in for lesson 2 soon. I really like also that they give you a book ticking off what you've learned so you get a sense of progression, will definitely be back to climb once I've passed the Belay course. Will book in a lead climbing course as well after :
Great mix of climbing routes, and not too busy. Everywhere felt nice and clean and good changing facilities. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
The route setting is great, flows really well, which is why I gave 2 stars. But this is the most unfriendly climbing wall I've ever been to. In addition, there is no training area and some very specific rules which I've never seen at other climbing walls. It's a shame Leeds wall has turned into this
