Loved the vibes and atmosphere of this cafe. The coffee was good the latte had maybe a bit too much milk in it? The almond croissant was good but the filling was not as much as I expected it to be. The staff were really friendly and the prices were good. Vegetarian options: They have oat milk.
The space is truly beautiful. The croissants are warmed up and wonderfully flakey. The lattes and pour over coffees are of excellent quality. But your experience depends on the busyness of the cafe. On a weekend, the cafe is a victim of its own success. Expect long wait times for both a seat and for your order. For 2 drinks and 2 pastries, we were waiting probably half an hour and that was on top of the half hour wait for a table. And to top that off, it was a $40 bill. On a weekday morning, the cafe is quiet and you will have the most attentive staff, to the point of over-service. The server will take you to your table, bring you water and a menu, and each item is beautifully plated when it arrives. The cafe is almost spa-like, lightly scented, with quiet music playing. For me, I prefer to order and pay ahead of sitting down in a coffee shop so this business model isn’t great for those in a rush. You have the option of ordering to go but if you want to experience the ambiance and take your time, I would suggest visiting during off-peak hours.
Visited Cafe x Bica for a productive work session and was greeted by a cozy and intimate atmosphere upon arrival. While the cafe is on the smaller side, it lends itself well to intimate conversations and one-on-one meetings, although larger groups may find seating limited. Although disappointed by the weekend's no-laptop policy, the exceptional service provided by our server more than made up for it. She ensured our comfort and assisted us in making our selections with warmth and efficiency. We had a raspberry croissant, a Nutella croissant, a cappuccino, and an iced latte. The croissants were a highlight, they were flaky and had generous fillings. Paired with coffees, our experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, Cafe x Bica proved to be a delightful choice for a friendly catch-up, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Parking: There is street parking by Avenue Road for a maximum of 3hrs. The cafe isn’t far from Avenue.
Stunning venue where the staff love their work and coffee culture. The cafe is connected to a modern furniture store with boardrooms which are not accessible to customers, mind you, so the shop is a bit smaller than the other reviews have shown. Lots of seating available still, with one section lots of sunlight being the no-laptop zone and 5-7 small tables behind the coffee counter less sunlight where you can use your laptop no charging outlets on this side of the room. Perfect temperature so you don’t need a sweater for anyone who gets cold easily, and the staff is super sweet and refill water often. Prices included in review. Bathroom is located in the business building next door so you’ll have to leave the shop staff gives you the bathroom code - plan accordingly regarding your valuables! Daniel the manager mentioned they’ll be doing “pour over experience” appointments you can book, in the future. Parking: Residential zone with free parking
Beautiful atmosphere, very calming and peaceful. They have a very unique menu specifically for coffee, with different flavors. Their pastries were good and fresh as well. The service was great, our server was very helpful and explained everything to us. Its a great place for studying and getting work done. Overall a great experienceFood: 5/5
The newest cafe in town which you should not miss. First off the aesthetic of this cafe is top tier. The interior is welcoming and on a sunny day lot’s of sunshine enjoy while inside. I ordered an iced latte and it had a good kick to it, I could tell quality coffee was used. My only surprised is that the prices on their menu is definitely on the higher said. 2 iced latte’s already cost me $17.00. Their pastries are freshly prepared and was served warm at the time of my order can’t really complain. I just wished they had competitive pricing. Also parking is not easily available if you are driving. I also love that there is a separate space for people working on a laptop.
Stunning cafe with great service! Got a pour over and it was really well brewed, lots of options of beans to choose from. Overall prices for coffee were on the pricey side compared to other specialty coffee shops in the city, on average $6-9 for a drink.Food: 5/5
The ambiance is stunning. Coffee is fantastic and sweet pastries are great. Spinach feta pastry was awful though. If you have an issue with strong scents, this space will give you a headache. They have a strong fragrance pumping out of diffusers that gave me a headache. The cafe is incredibly busy which unfortunately made for very slow service. Like a 40 min wait for food.
Tried this cafe recently, I had seen it on tiktok, so I was cautious about the feedback, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had an oat milk cortado with hazelnut syrup and a plain butter croissant. The coffee was good, but I probably would've swapped hazelnut syrup with vanilla syrup. The croissant was perfect! It was flakey, buttery, and warm! I will say it was quite pricey for a plain croissant, but if you're in the area, definitely check it out. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. If you plan on stopping by on a Saturday, make sure you plan ahead. There was a 1 hour wait for a table, and it does fill up quite fast! Also the decor is so lovely! And the music!
The newest cafe in town -contemporary decor and ambiance and top-notch quality coffee beans . Don't miss their Espresso Tonic. They have a bunch of baked goods which i dint get to try.. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. But be prepared for weekend crowds; I've heard it can get pretty busy, with waits of up to an hour. Give it a shot!
