Never had any issues with this practice, staff are all delightful and friendly. We had a lovely woman on Reception help us out, Charlotte went out of her way to answer our queries and have lots of patience with myself and my husband. She was very friendly and accommodating for us. No faults with the Dr either. Great surgery.
I would just like to thank the doctor and receptionist who helped my husbandnHe had an insect bite which suddenly became worse. I rang at 1.30 and he was seen by the on call doctor at 2.45 and given all the relevant treatment, there are so many complaints about GP services but the Bewick medical centre provides excellent care.nMany thanks
I suppose it's like every other GP service these days. The nurses here are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to support you with anything you need, can't fault them. Impossible to get a doctor's appointment sadly.
This practice appears to bel going downhill as it only has one doctor who has any empathy with his patients,nI have been told by the practice that I cannot have the inhalers for my COPD and asthma that I have used for the last 50yrs saying I have to use a cheaper product which cuts your carbon footprint and when I asked to see Dr Comber the good Dr they tried there best to stop me talking with him saying he was not available even on a phone appointment for 2 weeks.nThis is why the public are losing faith with the NHS.
Never had a problem getting an appointment. Good surgery and staff lovely
