In a world full of sterile, electronically driven Work out joints filled with more Lululemon attire than humanely palatable, one sometimes likes to work out and sweat in an old school rough and ready type gym!  Energie Fitness is that gym.  Located in Percy Park Rugby club it has everything you really need.  Downstairs has a big studio for yoga/Pilates/functional work outs etc, cosy spinning studio and cardio floor.  Upstairs are your weight machines and dumbbells to get buff and grunty.  Always friendly staff! Never too busy! Great pricing with no sign up fees! No fuss!

A bit biased as it is my club but its been an absolute pleasure. A great team and the members are lovely. A cracking gym that feels friendly and welcoming. If you have not tried us come along for a FREE day pass so you can see what we are all about :

When I visit home Tynemouth every other quarter from the Big Apple, I always come to Energie, get my few days membership pass and work out.  It may look small but has everything you need including weights, cardio and big Pilates/yoga studio also small spinning room.  Never too busy and everyone is friendly staff and guests.  Don’t bother with a big faceless gym when in town, go to Energie Tynemouth and feel like another friendly local face.

Friendly atmosphere, always made welcome. Great range of classes where you can go at your own pace, work at your own level. Great range of equipment, both cardio and weights.

Excellent gym, perfect location. Lots of parking & everyone Is lovely. Classes included in the membership are so accommodating. Highly recommend.

I was very nervous about joining this gym because I was so unfit and thought everyone would be Jane Fonda lookalikes ,how wrong they are all there to encourage you, The team are lovely and help you in any way they can. So what are you waiting for give it a go

Nice little gym until you try and leave. Advertised as no contract and 30 days notice. However, I'm having to pay 55 days notice even though I wasn't shown terms and conditions or didn't sign a contract. Be wary of their false advertising and mis-selling.

Great gym, great price, staff are friendly but not over the top, parking is easy, Emma is very friendly! Value for money!!!!!!

Great price, newly refurbished. Changing area a little cramped small lockers; need padlock. Nice local gym full of friendly folk.

Excellent gym with loads of equipment also friendly staff  Big thank you to Victoria for showing me round and how to use all the machines!
