Shocking I filled in the form for my husband and said ring after 3:30 after work they rang at 10am to offer an appointment and hour later which he couldn't up and leave work for them to just randomly book an appointment a week later without contacting him to ask if it was a suitable appointment. I them rang to see if I could make it later in the day to be asked by the rude receptionist what I want them to do and I would have to fill another form in for another appointment yet couldn't help on the phone
I spent 1hr on the phone trying to get an appointment only for them to hang up. I was so angry I went round as I didn't live far away at the time. Went I went in everyone was ignoring the phones and chatting quite happily. So much for hard working.
Terrible for me and my whole family years of mistreatment , for me after 2 years of fainting and other wierd symptoms I was told it was a “medically unexplainable symptom” and there’s nothing they can do and won’t look into it anymore After doing my own reaserch I discover it’s actually secondary dysautonomia due to my genetic condition and nothing was mentioned to me about it at all. It explains my fainting , gastro problems and various other things . utterly useless
If I could zero stars I would rang up to request the doctor I’ve been dealing with to ask for him to call me which is what I was advised the last time I saw the doctor to be told by the receptionist to go online and fill out a form not everyone is able to do this. This is the second I’ve been let down by this surgery
Totally lost faith in this practice after being with them 47 years......waited 6 and a half hours for a 10.20 booked telephone appt only to be fobbed off when the doctor finally rang back, I rang again next day feeling even worse to be actually given a face to face appointment with nurse, not once did she ask how I was feeling just felt fobbed off again! Reception staff lovely, clinical staff not so much. Also was started on new medication about 5 months ago also done over the phone not once has any one contacted me to see how I'm doing!
Shame to see so many low scores here because my experiences at this surgery have been faultless. You get back what you put in. Approach with patience, grace and the understanding that the service has been wrecked for over a decade - not the fault of these staff - and you'll be fine. Everyone I've seen or spoken to here has been polite, attentive and keen to help. Most recently GP Dr. Fitzgerald. For same-day appointments, it helps to know the extension you require beforehand. As soon as the operator speaks, interrupt and press the correct number. You'll start much higher in the queue.
Disgusting service, this GP is clearly failing but yet they still offer the same failing services and expect it to improve!? Listen to the patients trying to use this service and improve what you do!
Awful, the worst surgery ive had to experience, nearly impossible to make appointments, staff are rude, when you do get an appointment you have to wait an extra 1 or 2 hours before you're seen and thats if you make it through the 30mins waiting on the phone to be hung up on without speaking to someone. Abysmal, will be changing surgerys.
Absolutely terrible spent hour on the phone waiting to be contacted asked if my prescription was ready to be told it was . Went to be told it wasn’t . My list is endless
You can never get an appointment here. I wanted to pre-book an appointment for when they have availability a week or two in advance. No You have to phone up from 8am to to get an appoint if you are lucky enough to get in front of a queue of around 38 callers waiting ! Absolutely poor service, I feel less confident with doctors then I have ever been, it makes me feel like not bothering to book an appointment.
