Nice hotel, I've stayed here a couple of times and always been generally happy. Check in process was okay, there were a few people arriving at the same time so it was a bit busy but I didn't have to wait too long. I had a very nice room in the Georgian building which is adjacent to the main hotel. The room was large with a comfortable king size bed and a choice of pillows. The usual tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. The bathroom wasn't the biggest but perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. The choice of food in the restaurant was very good and well priced. What I had was very tasty. Breakfast is a mix of self service Continental and cooked to order. I had continental but from what I could see the cooked breakfast looked very good. All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. I'll stay again when I am in the area.

Lovely old building in a good state of repair. I didn't have an overnight stay but others did and said it was nice. The grounds are large grassy and picturesque. Plenty of seating inside, looks like a popular venue for weddings etc

The Hotel has a very beautiful old styling which flows quite nicely into the more modern restaurant area. The checking in process is quick and easy and the hotel utilises the card system for entry to rooms and the lights inside. The bathroom is spacious with a good strong shower. The room its self is quite large with all the essentials including a full ironing board, lockable safe, tv on the wall and plenty of sockets for your electronics. The food is of a great quality with a high level of service from all employees. I recommend anyone staying here for any period of time.

We went here for their New Years Eve dinner and dance. It was fantastic. Everything went by clockwork. The food was excellent, dinner good and disco also good. Fireworks and a piper st midnight and the drinks were reasonable. We were very pleased and had a great time..

A nice hotel, very comfortable room, good location
It was a large ensuite room with two beds and was warm and nicely decorated. The beds was comfortable. There is plenty if parking and beautiful grounds although our view was of the car park! The food is good although the restaurant and bar aren't exactly cosy but are nicely decorated. The staff were helpful.
