Highly recommended, stayed for 6 nights, rooms were excellent, clean and warm, breakfast excellent. Les the proprietor made you feel very welcome indeed, ( home from home ). I will recommend friends and family. Thanks Les.

Stayed overnight in the triple room. Hotel was lovely. Clean and ideal for a overnight stay. Owner was such a lovely guy. Shook our hands as we arrived. Couldnt do enough. Even allowed my friends and myself a later breakfast, due to us attending a festival. Highly recommend The Acorn. Had such a comfortable stay, and breakfast was lovely.

Excellent friendly service, very attentive but unobtrusive. The family room was very comfortable. Full English breakfast was delicious with great coffee served hot when we were ready. Would definatly visit again.

Owner will go to the ends of the earth to assist guests. Gave me a lift to a station (20 minutes in the car) and insisted that I did not pay him. Clean accommodation throughout. Would recommend!
