Nice grounds, nice room but could do with a bit of upkeep. For example, a picture had obviously been taken down off the wall but the wall plugs were visible, the plug and chain had come off the sink and hadn't been put back on. Just little things like that. Had an iron/ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryer. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are lovely. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was nice. Only criticism; I asked for sausage and scrambled egg for my breakfast and literally only got 1 sausage and some scrambled egg. So you would have to specifically state if you want more than 1 sausage/piece of bacon etc. Nice selection of pastries, fruit and cereals as well.

Booked for afternoon lunch. The lunch was lovely. Beautiful surroundings. The changing rooms and spa area are In need of a major update.

Had a great night sleep, 3 course meal in the restaurant was very nice. Staff were all great helpful and friendly. Will definitely return. We also found that we enjoyed visiting the town.

Visited on a Sunday with a voucher deal. Two course dinner and breakfast. We used the gym and pool area which was nice and ate lunch in the bar. Food was lovely, slight issues with breakfast. We weren't asked how we'd like our eggs and received very very greasy fried eggs. Lunch was Sandwich with fries and for dinner I had the prawn bruscetta, which was ok and pork steak (dry) with chips (amazing!)y daughter had a delicious mushroom linguine and chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Breakfast was cooked full breakfast, we had vegetarian . Also a great range of pastries, cereals, yoghurt, and nuts/dried fruit. Good selection of juices. Nice touch with mini jams on the table. Breakfast came with tea and toast. Gym is a little old fashioned but had everything we needed for a 90 minute workout. We really enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and sauna too. The room was basic but clean (hairdryer and tea making facilities in the drawers). Would stay again!

Booked for sparkling afternoon tea for two and spa access through Groupon. Great value for money! The facilities are nice and well kept and the sandwiches and cakes with the afternoon tea were fresh and tasty. The receptionist was nice and helpful (didn't get her name but she was young and had blonde hair) and it was a pleasant experience overall.
