Loe Lodge is a very traditional place to stay. It's set a very rural location with stables close by. The furniture in the rooms was a very high standard, with a very large bed and the towels and bedding were of excellent quality. The full English breakfast was delicious and consistent of cereals or porridge, fruit and yoghurt, toast and a full English (or kippers) with locally sourced ingredients with as much tea, coffee and juice as you wanted. Nothing was too much trouble.

Faultless - beautiful bedding, and so comfortable, slept very well despite the very sad reason for our visit. Richard had been very patient and helpful when I messed up my original booking quite spectacularly. Fantastic breakfast. Will definitely stay there again and hopefully get to do some of the lovely local walks - Thank you

What an absolute gem. The room was beautiful, and the full English breakfast was to die for. Will definitely be going back again.

Simply brilliant. Stayed here for two nights whilst in the area on business. Very fair rate paid, and I feel that I more than got the money's worth. Beautiful countryside to wander around right outside, with some very handy and local amenities. The room was scrupulously clean, very well presented and all details taken care of. Very friendly welcome from Richard who showed me around and ensured I was settled. It is very clear they are more than happy to help if you do have any issues or queries. A great breakfast was served, with local fresh produce, fresh milk available, even some additional entertainment in the way of books and DVDs being available. Will absolutely be staying again.
