Absolutely love this vets and will not use any other! I didn’t want to give my pup lepto 4 a lot of vets argue against it so relieved to find out that they don’t administer it always gives me amazing advice when I ring and really lovely people so glad I found them now

Best Friends is by far the best veterinary practice we have ever used. All the staff and friendly, knowledgeable and caring and we have always received prompt and excellent service whenever we have needed to take our cats in. Their aftercare is also very good and reassuring and we always get a phone call the day after any major treatment to check all is well. We definitely recommend Best Friends to anyone seeking a vet.
This is a really fabulous surgery. As a medical professional myself, I often struggle to find surgeries that I am completely happy with, whether that's due to hygiene procedures, treatment protocols or the age of equipment. I was nervous on moving to the area recently, as I was leaving behind a truly excellent vet to do so, and as a breeder, it is vital that my vets are top notch, to ensure the safety of mum and babies. I needn't have worried. The surgery is fab, with nice, modern equipment, a super clean smell and excellent hygiene. Vets are more than happy to work with you something crucial for me as I need to be able to suggest and discuss treatment options rather than blindly following orders, and they go above and beyond to make sure that animals are comfy and seen in a timely fashion. It's clear to see how much the nurses and receptionists love pets, something which again is surprisingly lacking in many places. The first time I brought a kitten in, I was mobbed just so they could coo over the baby, never mind that they must have seen literally hundreds before! It's so, so lovely to see people really enjoying what they do, and this comes across in every aspect. It's a happy, friendly place where I know my animals get the best treatment possible.
Outstanding Veterinary Surgery. The staff are excellent, super friendly, professional and wonderful with our dog. The care she has recently received after being diagnosed with Cushing's disease and Diabetes has been exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend Best Friends to anyone.
Having taken our dog & cat to Best Friends for the last 8 years, we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody. The facility is clean and tidy without being 'corporate', and the atmosphere has a lovely balance of being professional, yet genuinely warm and friendly. We’ve always felt instantly reassured and comforted if we've had to explore worrying issues for our pets, yet - equally - we've always been able to share a relaxed joke whenever our dog has ended up there for some daft self-inflicted! reason. Jon, Kirsty & the whole team are thorough, knowledgeable and genuinely very personable, and nothing is too much trouble. We have absolute trust that our pets are in safe hands.
The most positive experience we've had at a vets! Amazing care and attention from John and the team at Best Friends. We have a nervous staffy who others have treated as a bad dog, but not at this practice: she was understood straight away and John couldn't have been more considerate of her needs. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Another massive thank you for looking after Josie today. She is always welcomed with big hugs from Lauren and Amy, which is so reassuring! Jon is great too! When ever anyone asks me, who is your vet?.... I am confident to recommend Best Friends vet.
A first class veterinary practice, recommended to me because of their expertise with rabbits and guinea pigs as well as cats and dogs. Very warm and friendly and willing to go that extra mile to help. Having been involved in animal rescue for several years, I've taken a great many animals to Best Friends. Their dedication and perseverance has been outstanding, nothing is too much trouble. They have separate waiting areas and consulting rooms for dogs and cats and rabbits etc to avoid putting animals under extra stress. The support given to us as owners and carers as well as the animals is very much appreciated.
The staff at this surgery are without exception, the best I've ever seen. John who owns the practice is thoughtful, engaging and is really open to your inputs and wishes. This isn't a practice which is only in it for the money at all. All of the staff here are delightful. They know you by name and they know your pet's name when you walk in, even if you don't have an appointment. They go out of their way to make your pet feel happy to be there. They recognise your voice on the phone before you even tell them who you are!!! This is a truly outstanding practice which I cannot recommend enough and having had 3 other vets in the past, two of which were adequate, I feel that this one really does stand out. 5 stars.
