· Wow where to start, I found this gem while visiting the local area. The inside is very warm and cosy and beautifully decorated. The staff were so warm and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. No impersonal self-check-ins here people! My room was on the top floor and can only be described as a cosy little snug. Gorgeously decorated with pretty lighting and an illustration of a castle. The bed was decent and had a lovely tartan rug on top. I was delighted to see there was a pretty antique-looking writing desk and chair in the room with plenty of space to hang clothes and store bags. There is a nice bath in the bathroom and this is the first place I saw had a proper bath matt as well as a matt in front of the loo. No moving the thin little matt around with a foot in this bathroom! I loved the fact that I could open the window in both the bedroom and bathroom. Pleasant continental breakfast, and decent coffee. The evening meal I had here was scrumptious everything on their menu looked amazing. The dining room had so much ambience and music in the background was not over loud meaning people were still able to talk to each other. Parking right outside. Bravo! highly recommend. I ended up booking a second night. Would visit again.
Great little hotel with comfortable and quiet rooms.nFood was excellent as was the Guinness. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We travelled 110 miles to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary,I had hospital appointment on the 11sept,so looked for hotel near to it,the prices for 1 night was awful,so looked and found The Bennachie Lodge Hotel,we were amazed with our room,so my bother and his partener came upfrom Kemnay and we had supper,food was great.I had to get up and shower at 6.30,so apologies to anyone,we hope we did'nt disturb.Excellent staff,its a pleasure from the sterile hotels.Felt at home.My op went well but I would definately stay there again again.
A very attractive and pleasant hotel, with friendly, helpful staff and an excellent restaurant. I had a budget room so it was a little small fair enough for the budget price, but very nice and very comfortable.
Don’t often write reviews, but with recent changes to the lodge with the new all you can eat menus and the amazing changes to other menu items I felt the need to comment on it. Fantastic staff, great food, and cheap prices. It is a most go location when you don’t feel like cooking!
