After a bad experience in a hotel in a neighbouring town, this was the complete opposite. Such a nice staff, a lot was possible for us. Did not even have to think about it, just 'yes'. The food was delicious, dinner and breakfast. I tasted all the dishes from our group, all as delicious as the previous. I would definitely come back.
Fantastic little hidden gem. Service was above and beyond as was the food. Staff are attentive, polite yet charming and witty. The meals were absolutely outstanding and the portions were bigger than expected. Very reasonably priced menu and and will definitely return in the future. If you're a steak fan, highly recommend the Fillet rare! Or the salt and chilli chicken.
Unfortunately can’t comment on rooms, however, the restaurant is absolutely lovely. Food is always made to a high standard and delicious, the staff go above and beyond and deserve their own review for how much they do! Such a hidden wee gem. Will always be one of my favorites in the shire.
We went for a meal at Ardennan, didn't not stay at the hotel, so cannot comment on that.nnThe food and service was exceptional, super delicious and finished every plate. Wait for it was an average time. No fancy drinks menu, usual stuff is available. Enjoyed it and definitely would come back.
What a lovely family run hotel the staff couldn't do enough for you very professional, the food was amazing and reasonably priced, the rooms are immaculate, warm and comfortable I would recommend you give this wee place a visit if you're ever up this way
