This place is perfect to get some work done, study, or chat with a friend. It has two floors which has different vibes. It's away from the high streets and feels like a little getaway nook in the city. One of my favourite things is that they encourage co-working here. You won't feel pressured like other coffee shops in the city to get out. I really wanted to give them a 4/5 just because they forgot my food order and I had to remind them and wait another 20 mins. BUT WAIT, they not only apologised but also gave me a coffee and a pastry on the house. Considering that they’re a new business and still getting their bearings I have to say this is easily ignored by their friendliness and space. I have hearted the location and will share with friends and family to come.
So according to their website Benk + Bo means work bench in Norwegian. The whole place is a bit of a concept and cafe where the premises is multi functional work place. The idea being an open working environment to encourage collaboration. A bit like a niche and cooler version of WeWork. However, I only came in for a cup of coffee. I ordered a latte and admittedly, it was a good cup of latte. It came is a small cup smaller than even a Primo from Costco. Priced at £3, it was good, but not that good. Overall, far too expensive.
Came here for 2 events this year and the ambiance here is just so cosy The interior is warm and there’s plenty of space for seats. Staffs are very friendly as well. Wish I can come here more often!
Nice cafe with great coffee and plenty of seats for a relaxed stay. I didn't try the food this time, but there were plenty of choices including vegan options and a downstairs bakery. Could be one of my new favourite spots.
Welcoming staff. Cool interiors and warm vibe. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quite and inviting place to work in.
Excellent venue that is beautifully designed throughout -- great mid century furniture mixed with modernist touches -- so much so I wish half this stuff was in my house. Brilliant wine list full of very decent value. And the jazz night was excellent, will be returning a lot to work, drink, and dance.
Absolutely fantastic coffee, could not fault it. Delicious, the best I've had in a long time but I definitely won't be returning. There are other co-working spaces around that have much more of a community sensibility, with staff who are attentive, friendly and care about creating customer rapport. It doesn't matter how good your coffee is, if your staff are unwelcoming.
It's always a joy to walk through the doors at Benk + Bo. I especially love the café! Great coffee and smoothies, and the food is excellent. I'm also a fan of the yoga classes. I've tried a few and they have all been really good. The studio space is very calm. The vibe manages to be cool but friendly too. If you're in the neighbourhood, I recommend you swing by.
Discovered the place today. Stopped for an espresso and a cinnamon swirl this morning. The coffee was absolutely fabulous and swirl even better. Also it looks very nice inside!
Great atmosphere, delicious coffee and food. Definately visit again
