Judging by the reviews on here it seems Belvoir only cater to landlords/buyers rather than tenants/renters so I figured I’d put my two cents. They are quick to follow up on a missed rent payment (which had only happened once in over a year) but when it comes to dealing with other issues such as mold, worrisome cracks, a faulty boiler or parking issues they did not disclose with us in the beginning, they enjoy lazing about. They neglected to tell us that our property did not (lawfully) contain a parking space due to there not being a dropped curb however, their advertisements and inventory reports stated otherwise. Being young and naive, the thought never crossed my mind to ask which put me and my roommate in a difficult situation with our neighbours from the get go. I had to personally chase numerous organisations for this to actually happen and it took near enough nine months in which time my vehicle was vandalised, we had numerous spouts with neighbours and their visitors and we were being harassed. We are now going through our second winter with a faulty boiler because their handymen, quote on quote “can’t be bothered because it’s too difficult a job”. This was after they used a clean pile of my laundry as a stepping ladder to survey the boiler...very strange attitudes and highly unprofessional. 

Turns out, Belvoir hadn’t even told our landlords of these issues we’ve been having with the boiler for over a year and they are now having to travel back and forth from London to sort this. This was after I had to again, contact the local council & a number of solicitors just to get my landlords contact details! The staff at Belvoir often have “don’t care” attitudes towards us, they never follow up on our issues or complaints and have the audacity to charge us an arm and a leg for a property they falsely advertised. We’ve been saving up to buy our first house within the next year and we can gladly check Belvoir off of our “not to use” list.

We will check and call you back is all that you here and than no one calls you back for months! Problems with central heating and electricity, no one cares, you can wait for days without heating at Christmas with a 4 years old, no problem. No on call service, no contact details from the landlord so if something happens on a bank Holiday or during weekend you have literally no one to contact. We can't expect problems to occur during office hours, some one should think about this, no?

Very efficient - quick in finding tenants for my property and to arrange all the needed for maintenance etc. Strongly recommend them!

I've been with Belvoir for a few years now and find them professional, helpful and straightforward to deal with. 

They keep a close eye on the tenants and the property and quickly arrange for quotes on any work they advise needs doing. I'm very happy with the service they offer and I do recommend them to others.
