UPDATE 5 months in. 

Connells last month sent me a demand notice email, for late payment of rent when in fact I had as always, paid prior to my rent due date. I call the Hinckley branch and the 0152... number on the email I inform both I have paid and they BOTH tell me it's a mix up don't concern myself they know rent had been paid (28/3). A week more passes then my father gets a letter ( letter dated the 31/3) stating I hadn't paid the rent and he as the guarantor must make payment. I then get a phone call from a concerned/worried father/guarantor who's initially extremely cross with me for ' not paying the rent because the letter says so ' i have to leave work and send proof to my father that I had indeed paid my rent and then call the offices once again. 
Their ability and sheer cheekiness to try and pass the blame infuriated me in all honesty each department blaming the other. I have been dealt with in a good manner since this incident but I felt humiliated both with work friends and my father. One more star removed from the initial 4* rating. 

I have rented from Connells for 4 months now. The whole moving process with them was easy, from the viewing to getting the keys. The agent they use to do your checks though are long winded which meant over a week of worrying, but i expect that's the same with all estate agents. 
I have had many problems with my property, including but not listing them all.. the front door jamming shut multiple times and having no exit, to unexpectedly capping my fire, to the shower stopping mid way through and it taking months to get permission to repair. I have waited too long for some repairs but this is not due to Connells this is due to landlords who do not wish to accept their responsibilities or spend their own money, meaning everyone suffers and the estate agent gets a bad name.

their communication skills aren't the best and that's a star off for this in particular. When you are told somebody will call you back, somebody should always call you back. Its more than just politeness, it represents to tenants that you do actually care.

After selling many properties over the last few years in Warwickshire, I would rate Connells of Hinckley one of the best estate agents that I’ve done business with , can’t fault them , well done .

Have to say this is by far the worst estate agent i have ever been with and i have rented from afew. 
Not interested in its tenants, just getting them in the property to start with. 
I do not recommend. In fact i would advise anybody to go elsewhere.

Provided a great service. I have sold my property and done my mortgage through Connells Hinckley and couldn't be happier with the service I received and how smooth they made the transaction. Highly recommend
