Cannot fault the welcome and hosting off John. Great breakfast mine cooked to my requirements. I can overlook tried and tatty and even the smell from the sani flow ..but a dirty bathroom is just not acceptable under any circumstances. Would have left as soon as I saw it if I could of afforded to pay cancellation fee.

The owner was rude and forceful about issues regarding our dog. The shower in our room basically didn't work. No hot water and really low water pressure. The room was grubby and the bathroom looked like it needed cleaning. The breakfast was cheap rubbish and even being included didn't make it much of a bonus. My wife is vegetarian, she asked about the vegetarian menu as stated and was told, "well you should have told me as soon as you arrived". There is a small video camera on the shelf in the dining room, it's creepy. Poor attitude, made us feel quite unwelcome, shame as we stay in that area a lot and this would have been ideal location-wise. Would never go back, even for free. Wanted to leave ASAP.

Nice place, the owners make you welcome. The rooms are getting ready for refurbishing.
