Stayed in the single room. Beautiful but small bathroom. Lovely big shower though. Dated bedding spoilt the look of the room and the bed was hard. Breakfast was nice. Had a soft boiled egg and it was cooked perfectly. Main part of hotel dated but clean and comfortable.
Me and my fiance came and stayed for the night. Was a saturday night. There was parking for about 10 cars was about 5 left when we got there about 16:30. We were greeted by the owner who explained breakfast time and checking out procedures. The hotel seems fairly old fashioned on the inside, but it doesn't claim to be anything it isn't. The double room we booked had a small television which we didn't use and a shower and toilet. Bed was comfy enough and we slept well. Not very noisy although floorboards creaked in the corridors which could be heard in the room. Breakfast was included and was a variety of cereal to choose from along with a cooked breakfast. All in all, was a nice hotel and price was very reasonable. Just don't expect glitz and glam.
Building a bit old and tired. Room adequate for a single and clean and tidy . Staff nice and friendly. Breakfast nice, halal so turkey rashers instead of bacon and beef sausages. No evening meal, but pub nearby as well as a Chinese restaurant and various takeaways. I had excellent fish and chips from chippy opposite which I could eat in my room. Overall good value for the price. I travel regularly for work and have paid a lot more for far worse!
It's okay for short stays. I stayed there on 2 occassions with my wife. Both rooms we stayed in are too small for 2 just right for 1person. It's got creaky floors and there's barely any water coming out of the shower. The first time we stayed there, we had to ask staff to change the sheets because they smelled funny. The place is in dire need of updating; the furnitures don't match and they need new doors for their washrooms as well.
The entire hotel is very tired and needs modernizing. That starts in the car park at the front and extends to the bathrooms in the rooms. There was even a false office style ceiling in my room and worse than that it was grotty. The bed was comfy and clean and that was the only good thing I could say about our visit. Breakfast is limited with turkey bacon rashers and the most bizarre cheap sausage. Not what I expect from a full English. I cant even say that the price was cheap. Absolute 0/5 score - a very sorry experience.
Hard to find, the decor is a little dated. The room was okay at first glance, a little warm even with the windows open. Shower was a waste of time took me 35minutes to shower the pressure was useless. Staff were helpful and efficient.
Comfortable, warm rooms. Rooms are dated, ours had a creaky floor, but they are clean and good value for the money. Breakfast was nice, a good poached egg. The hotel/house must have been impressive in its heyday.
Not bad! Very early checkout time. Breakfast only available for a short period and shower takes a long time to warm up. Some bathrooms are bigger than the bedroom!
Cheap hotel. Clean and fairly comfortable bed. No hairdryer. Staff friendly. Breakfast ok. Convenient location 5 mins drive to Trafford and city centre. 10 min walk to tram station. Quick taxi service. Poor shower and toilet door did not close.
A quaint hotel with lots of character. A family run business. Clean rooms. No complaints. Good service. Value for money.
