Great view over the loch. Excellent value money, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Good entertainment on a evening. The staff all very friendly. Rooms a good size and spotless. Tea and coffee provided and topped up daily. Would book here again.

Lovely clean hotel, friendly staff that can't do enough for you. Nice food served by professional courteous staff and great entertainment. Will definitely be coming back at the first opportunity.

Spent a lovely Christmas break in the Caledonian Hotel I would recommend anybody to stay over Christmas there and a lovely place to stay anytime.

Lovely decor. Suitable for older people. No wi fi in rooms and no sockets to charge phoned etc. Only 2 sockets used for tv and kettle.

A bit of a retirement holiday home. Clearly not used to anyone under 65. Desk staff not locals and don't know the area, not great for a popular walking destination. Rips in towels. Decor stuck in 1962. Dinning experience was terrible. Assigned seating with no ablity to make your own decisions. Dinning staff do not know how to walk without shaking the entire floor. Staff were rude and did not apply common manners (eg. Pulling out chairs for women, asking how the meal was going etc.). Breakfast was a rude awakening as instead of being greeted at the doorway we were 'guided' to our seats by a dog-like coaxing to our terrible assigned table. Not a very positive response when asked for a different table. Food quality essentially asdas own frozen meal kept at the side. Overall a poor excuse for a holtel. Clearly only operated for shearings holiday packages.
