We stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic stay, Jan and Jamie and Duggy, the dug were excellent hosts. We only seen Jamie once upon arrival but Jan’s morning chats over breakfast were a delight, she is s such a natural at hospitality that she should give lessons to other guest houses. The room was airy and spotless, the bed was very comfortable I usually find it virtually impossible to find a bed that measures up to our one at home but this was so comfy Breakfast is continental only but don’t let that put you off, the selection was bountiful and the croissants are top quality. We had to temper our selections at breakfast because the first morning we went a bit crazy and ended up too stuffed! The location is a short, very pleasant 10 minute walk to Fort William High street and there is private parking at the back of the building, and the room had a lovely view of the loch and mountains. I highly recommend this establishment, a brilliantly run guest house run by brilliant people.
We had an absolutely amazing stay here. Jan and Jamie are incredibly friendly and attentive hosts, going above and beyond with taking care of their guests and extremely helpful with local recommendations. The rooms are absolutely stunning - we had the most beautiful and peaceful lake view, with a super comfortable and large bed. Also very spacious room. Great breakfast too to get you ready for the day exploring the beautiful area. We cannot recommend this place enough. Everything was just perfect!
Jan and Jamie are two really warm hosts. We felt very comfortable here. The breakfast was plentiful and the coffee very tasty. Unexpectedly in a positive sense there was a daily room service. The room was also very clean and in good condition. Rooms: Clean and tidy Walkability: You can easily walk within 10 minutes to High Street. Food & drinks: Breakfast: Coffee or Tea, fruits salad, boiled eggs, cereals, croissants, toasts, Marmelade, jam, ham, milk, and more
Compliments and thank you to Jan and Jaime! Splendid hospitality, nice, well maintained and clean room, comfortable bed, awsome breakfast, great view over Loch Linnhe. I am grateful for the memorable time we had there. Walkability: In walking distance to town center.
We had a fantastic stay with Jan & Jamie, really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was our 32nd Wedding Anniversary and such a lovely touch they gave us some fizz and chocolates to celebrate, a really nice and unexpected touch. Breakfast is varied and filling, help yourself to the continental selection. Location is superb and a short safe walk into Fort William high street. Location has off road parking for guests which is great. Jan even took the time before our stay to send some info about restaurants and how busy Fort William is, so which places require Pre booking, great info. This was a brilliant stay and somewhere we would return
What a lovely place - decent sized room which was well furnished*, nice continental style breakfast and nicely placed. * oddly there are no wardrobes? Didn't actually matter but just seemed strange. Recommended if you are in the Fort William area, but book well in advance as it seems popular and deservedly so.
Jan and Jamie were very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable of local locations. Room and view from our room was breathtaking. The bathroom left us speechless and could of sat in room and looked at view all day. Breakfast was well organised for the time we had to leave for our climb up Ben nevis. The food was lovely. Would definitely go back highly recommend. Angela and Lizzie
Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable. You made us feel comfortable from the outset. Very hospitable very clean. Room was amazing full of light and felt at home. Breakfast was great looking out on to the loch. Jan was on hand to offer any helpful Information on the local area and made us a breakfast earlier than usual times before we left for Nevis. See you soon, the Italian brummies
Great place to stay! Our room at the front overlooking the loch was large with an equally large bath and shower room. Very comfortable, easy parking and a 10 minute walk into town.Rooms: 5/5
Jan was the perfect host, she was really friendly and fun. The house location is amazing just in front of a lake and 10 minutes walk from the town . The room was clean and spacious and the views were stunning. The breakfast was great. Congrats guys!Rooms: 5/5
