Had Batten Carpets and Woodworx flooring replace my central london flat's lounge and hallway carpets with laminate. All the people I spoke to from there were very knowlegeable and polite. The fitters turned up on time and did an excellent job. Would use again.
I had a wooden floor fitted by Batten Carpets / Woodworx in 2014 and when I moved house recently I had them fit a new floor there too. I was so pleased with the work they did the first time and it still looked great after 5 years. I dealt with Brodie in the shop, who is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional and Nick did the fitting which was beautifully finished with great attention to detail, he really took the time to make sure that I was happy with the work. I would definitely recommend them and I also think it’s important to support local independent businesses.
A neighbour recommended us Batten Carpets and we couldn't be happier with the result. Great service and competitive price. Everyone was extremely helpful throughout the process. The fitter Nick did a great job and was very accommodating. I’d definitively recommend them to anyone looking for good product and labour.
I would like to leave a review regarding the laminated flooring we got done service was excellent. both people who came to do the flooring were very patient and very helpful.and very pleasant people. their work was very clean, tidy and professional. I would recommend them for anyone would like to get good professional work done. laminated material I have chosen was good quality, was well advised by the Batten staff. I am very happy with the choice of the company and the people who came to do the work.
Recently had fjor engineered wood flooring installed. Batten/woodworx are really easy to deal with from Brodie on the desk to Ian who comes around to the property to measure up for the quote. Nick the fitter did a great job, floor looks outstanding. He was able to remove the existing flooring in the morning and install the new flooring same day living room and hallway. We were return customers since we had carpets installed by the guys last year in the bedrooms. Highly recommended for a no fuss and good experience.
Great quality work, done by a friendly, family run business. As a single female, i've previously struggled to find reliable workmen, but I've used Batten's many times, to do both communal hallway carpet work, and my own apartment. The team in-store provide realistic advice on pricing and material choices, and the fitters are friendly, helpful. They understood that i wasn't able to move heavy furniture on my own and even assisted me with other things that they weren't booked for. Great local firm - highly recommend.
We had our whole flat fitted out with engineered wood from Batten Carpets and it has totally transformed the flat, we are very happy with the result! Great service from start to finish and great value for money. I would certainly recommend them and would definitely use them again.
Hi I just had some carpet and laminate flooring fitted by batten carpets . I am so pleased with the end product it looks amazing. I dealt with rohan in the shop he was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable I don't think there is anything that man does not know. Ian came to the property with some samples and gave me some excellent advice on colours and styles of carpet which suited my decor. And the fitters were excellent very professional and had an eye for detail. My overall experience was amazing would recommend battens time and time again. Great service great value why go anywhere else. My family have always used batten carpets and the way I see it is you got to be doing something right to be in business for over 50 years . We had Nick fit laminate in our living room and hallway. We have a old house with many difficult cuts and nothing is straight. Nick and his college did a fantastic job they arrived on time where polite cleaned up well and finished when they said they would.There was a couple of obstacles on the way but they were dealt with professionally and with no problem. I will be highly recommending to anyone who asks. Thanks again
The guys at Batten carpets & Woodworx Flooring were great - very honest and knowledgable about the different styles of floor we could go for. The fitter was quick, friendly and tidy and the finished product looks fantastic in our new flat. Would highly recommend.
