We came to this restaurant on a whim after finding it on Google maps, and couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. The place has the feel of a cottage dining room; warm and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and obviously loved working there. We had 3 courses each and every single one was delicious. I would recommend the mushroom hot pot and the truffle chicken, but I'm sure every dish is great. We're definitely going to return in the summer to sit on their balcony overlooking the river! Thanks for a great dinner.

Amazing hidden gem on the river in beautiful Bath. We went for Sunday lunch on a recommendation and were so glad we did. Smoked salmon and calamari starters were delicious, the roast dinners were genuinely the best we’ve ever eaten (I’ve been dreaming of the topside of beef ever since!) and the ginger sponge pudding dessert was just sublime. Couldn’t fault a thing about this place. Rosie was a welcoming host and even gave us tourists written directions for a canal walk to do after lunch. How we wish the Bathwick Boatman was local to us!

Such a lovely hidden gem. The food was nice, simple, uncomplicated and awesomely well cooked. The staff were so friendly and chatty. Just make sure you book so you don't miss out.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food was fantastic, great flavors and freshly cooked food able to accommodate various dietry requirements. The service was great, very attentive staff who are very friendly and helpful. The venue also had live music at the time which was a great touch. Definitely recommend this place for dinner!
