Mark was incredibly helpful with great advice across the board. He talked us through all the options, showed us around the showroom, and gave us alternatives to consider too. It's been a really lovely, stress free way to choose a new bathroom. He emailed the 2D/3D view images to us and also helped calculate the amount of floor and wall tiles we will need. Now we are excited to finally get a new family bathroom to be proud of.
I was genuinely impressed with the experience I had today with Mark at your Guildford showroom. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave a really personalised service that was tailored to my needs. He waited patiently whilst we made decisions about which products to go for and was cheerful throughout, despite my indecision! It was great to be able to speak to a person who was happy to answer questions and give advice. Thank you!
A dreadful experience of wrong parts ordered, delivered items not arriving on time, parts arriving damaged, some two months late or not at all. It might surprise some of you to learn that I ordered this shower room from the Guildford store in June, I’m still waiting my basin in December and the items that got delivered damaged I haven’t got my refund for. They said I have to wait 28 days for a cheque which will take me well into Jan 2021, that if it arrives of course. Absolutely awful alongside their delivery partners at DHL and avoid at all costs. Victoria Plumbing saved the day which meant we were able to move into our new home
Ordered some shower Wetwall panels which turned out to be warped and unusable. After calling to request new ones we were told we'd have to order a new set at £650.. do not recommend this company
I purchased a new bathroom from the Guildford store. I had been into a couple of other branches first but I liked the attitude of the Guildford team even though 50mile trip. Alan the sales person was very helpful and accommodating to our project and constantly went the extra mile to source the right products. He produced several 3D colour images for us to really feel the finished product, which made it come alive! The communication was spot on throughout the process, and the delivery team were efficient and friendly. Once delivered we realised that we were slightly short of tiles for the design which could have been down to the architects images, however Kevin who I spoke to about it, sourced me the extra tiles at a drop of a hat and free of charge. The bathroom was installed and the finished result was amazing in respect of look and feel. Sadly 5 months in the toilet had a slight leak which damaged some tiles and grouting etc. I had my builder come and assess the problem / damage and then phoned Kevin at the Guildford store to address the issue. Once again his customer service was excellent and arranged for a new toilet to be sent out under warranty and also replaced the tiles required for the job delivering them after work in his own time. As they were a discontinued line. The issue i generally find these days with many businesses is that they are all singing and dancing when they are selling you a series of expensive products but after the money is in the till you become a second rate citizen if any problems occur. The Bathstore have set a standard others should strive to work towards. I would certainly purchase another Bathroom from them as a business and would personally recommend the Guildford Team who clearly have expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service. I would like to mention Alan, Stewart, and especially Kevin for seriously going the Extra Mile at every turn. Well done
I am quite angry with this company. I went into the Guildford showroom on Monday and discussed having a walk-in shower put into my sick brother’s bathroom, with the bath removed. One of the things we discussed was the need for a low shower tray, as in not to high because my brother has mobility issues including difficulties steps. Ollie even said there was a lower tray available to the one we looked at, which delighted me. When Lucian arrived late for our appointment to measure up today he told me that it was not possible and that there would be a big step. I told him about the conversation with Ollie but he didn’t budge on it so I told him to go. I don’t understand why they wasted my time. The knock -on effect of today was that I have wasted a week and also I arrived late into the hospital where my brother is, and missed seeing his doctor because Lucian was late. As it’s Friday I now can’t get the information I wanted from the doctor until Monday. I don’t know who was wrong – Ollie or Lucian – but one of them was. Wasted my time and as polite as I am being on here, I am mightily annoyed. Bathstore should train their staff and their managers – the manager was sitting close enough to Ollie to interject on the conversation a couple of times but he didn’t say anything.
Terrible experience. All I wanted was a refitted bathroom but they make mountains out of molehills. I first had to pay 40% of the suite cost as a deposit just to get them to send a fitter to quote for the intall. Why is beyond me as noone else does that, they quote for the job then take a deposit if we agree to go ahead. Thankfully this was refunded following the visit from the fitter. The fitter barely spoke any English so discussing things in detail was a challenge. That would be fine if he knew what he was doing, but he didnt have a clue. Not to mention the fitting quote was 2 and a half times higher than 3 other quotes. They tried to claim it's due to their 5 year warranty, but the other fitters I got out all gave me 2, 3 or 4 year warranties as well. Going here seemed like a great choice, a one stop shop from a high street firm. Don't bother. It'll be 4 hours of your life you'll not get back.
Went in and was seen quickly, asked for mid range selection - went to a different retailer to find out they have quoted for basic entry level. On closer inspection found wrong colour tiles on quote - check everything.
Reasonable amount of bathrooms on show but no offer of help or advice during our visit. We left!
Great customer service by Kevin and team. I have bought several bathrooms from them over the years and the follow up customer service is first class.
