Terrible communication and customer service. We recieved our access code like 5 mins before we got to the property, and that was only because we rang the owner a few times. He answered twice and promised he would send us the access, but we had to ring back several times as he still hadn’t sent it. This was in the space of 24 hours. If i had asked for the code when we got there, we would have been stuck outside the apartment waiting for him to sort it out. We had originally booked a private apartment with our kitchen. He had double booked us and we only found out a few days before the booking, so we accepted a smaller double room with a shared kitchen because we had no choice. We accepted this after he said he would give us a partial refund….i am still waiting for that refund after contacting him several times…. The room itself was clean and fine if your on a business trip, we were in the top floor in a loft room, its quite hot as there is only one window and it was only about 23 degrees when we were there. The only good thing i could say about this property was that it was clean thankfully. The shared kitchen had hardly any utensils and dishware. Only enough for one person 1 mug, 1 bowl etc, which is ridiculous considering it is shared. The parking provided at the property was completely full, and its an awkward space so if you park, you can get blocked in by other people in the apartment. We used the off street parking which was free. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have a car and need to use it during your stay, its really awkward.
As soon as you open the front door the smell hits you, damp. I was in room 3, bedroom clean,kitchen clean and bathroom clean however the sitting area carpet was filthy with staines all over and a dead moth squashed into the carpet. The window sills and walls were also dirty. Location good for my work
Absolutely dreadful. We had the upstairs flat. Nothing like photos. There was mold in the bathroom draws. Health and safety issues. Plugs hanging off socket. Plugs under sink!! Blinds broken. Stains everywhere. Draught from window had to put pillows against it. Glass CRACKED I could put my nail through the glass to the outside air! Cleanliness awful. Avoid at all costs. Requested refund and was refused!
We were moved to a different apartment at short notice due to a problem with this apartment. The other apartment was fine, however, I was promised a partial refund which I never received, despite chasing it repeatedly.
Nice location, poorly organized, noise, dirt, heat restricted to a minimum, parking lot full of mud, cracked windows and the cold enters the room
Excellent location and charming flat for a very good price. The only issue would be to park nearby the car park access is very tricky is you have a wide car.
Practical, good location close to the town centre and lovely gardens around the corner, but needs.some maintenance.
Truly terrible place. Had Flat1 and it is NOTHING like the advertised flat, decor is dreadful, location worse and no off street parking.Rooms: 1/5
A good place to stay during business trip and travel which provides comprehensive facilities at a comparatively reasonable pricing.
Good place to live for short stay, rather than staying in hotel
