Lollo is our regular go to restaurant , food and staff always lovely but the Mother’s Day celebration menu this week is exceptional. Thank you to Enrico and all this hardworking team who always make our visit special.

Not being from the area and it being late in the evening on a Fri we stopped in and were seated immediately. It was busy and upstairs was half full however service was prompt & it wasn’t too loud.nnFood was excellent, hot & plentiful in portion size. Calzone was stuffed, crispy with a sumptuous tomato sauce on the side. Perfectly cooked pasta retaining its bite with an excellent balance of ingredients in the sauce. Sid of chips were crunchy & fluffy.nnThe decor is modern, classsic, open & even the bathrooms are nice. You can see the pizza oven & prep.nnAlso seen a private room for bigger parties but equally as cute a restaurant for an intimate date.nnDownstairs has a disabled bathroom.

Count this restaurant as one of THE reasons to visit Morpeth. Post Xmas catch up with my bestie here right at the end of lunch service, food was quick to appear, service was excellent and the bill was a pleasant surprise as well. We ate from the 3 course lunch special menu but opted for the coffee as the 3rd course as the portions were such that there was no room for ice cream! It has a vibrant atmosphere and is clearly popular but didn't feel rammed or hectic. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.nnPicture: chicken bourgignon with saffron rice lunch 3 course special menu.

Great vibe & atmosphere, we came on a Saturday night and they had a singer and people were up dancing. Most of the meals in our party were good however I had the veg pasta and it was quite oily and generally just not great. We waited a LONG time to be served and even between everyone getting their dish was a considerable wait. The staff are great and friendly but service could do with some improvement.
