Came for a meal midweek in a largish group of 9. We had our own room and were met with a lovely warm welcome. The food was delicious and came all at once and the service was brilliant. A lovely warm cosy venue, highly recommended!
Food and service was amazing. Beautiful little pub. Honestly the best roast I have had beef was cooked to perfection,all tasted beautifully fresh. Will definitely return next year on our break away
1st time I had used the pub for Sunday Lunch, Food was fantastic, From the moment we walked in The Land Lady was so funny and made us feel very welcome, I really enjoyed my self and comes highly recommended..
Sunday lunch was lovely. Plenty of food, piping hot and super tasty. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Also super dog friendly. Will definitely visit again.Food: 5/5

Fantastic festive family lunch here on Xmas eve. Sorry my photo was before the vegetables broccoli, carrots and sprouts were added. The roast potatoes deserve a special mention because they were absolutely gorgeous.
Didn't eat, popped in for a point and a packet of crisps as refreshment on a walk. Very pleasant pub with a nice garden and a car park. Decent beer, dog friendly, good seating outside. Can't comment on the food as I didn't have any.
Olde worlde traditional pub, friendly and efficient. Had lunch. Good value and great food. Specials today had a good selection as well as the standard menu. Opted for salmon and prawn starter very good followed by traditional gammon, egg and chips huge and also very good. I will eat here again.
Love thus pub. Not regulars but always get a nice welcome. It's popular so parking is tight but you can usually get a space nearby. We had dinner this time. Good quality bar food nicely served and well presented.
