After reading the reviews here I was a little worried about my proposed visit today. I made a visits to this branch a couple of weeks ago and again today, on both occasions I was welcomed politely, and offered assistance, I accepted and was helped to conduct my business in a friendly and efficient manner. In my opinion the scathing reviews I read here are totally unjustified. My thanks to the customer assistance staff.

The bank said they have been doing maintenance work since Thursday last week and my bank account is still down. Now when I call telephone banking I get cut off before I get a chance to talk to someone about it. I just want my money out and I will change bank.

No customer service. Enough staff but useless, not helpful. There is more staff for the size of the Bank but useless. Contact centre and the bank are not aligned, two different messaging.

5 weeks for an appointment to change over to a joint account. Went to Lloyds and closed down the account after 10 mediocre years with Barclays......how is 5 weeks acceptable

Was with my Mother who took £50 out of the ATM inside; she simply wanted to change two £20's the machine gave her into £10's and was rudely informed that even as a premier banking customer she was posibly trying to launder the cash and was point blank refused. Staff even saw her get the money from her account and from there own ATM! Disgusting service.
