I came to the spa with two teenagers for a few treatments...The staff are amazing! They are professional and friendly and made my girls feel like stars, particular thanks go to Hayley and Becky, who not only treated them with courtesy but also spent a lot of their time discussing skin care with the girls. They also had afternoon tea in the cafe, which was delicious and served with a very friendly smile...5* all round!

The gym in itself was amazing! Clean and lots of equipment. However, I was in town visiting my husbands family and I went with a friend there who has recently had a baby and felt intimidated by being in a gym for the first time since the baby weight. We were working out together, side by side doing the same workout,  when the manager came up to me an accused me of exchanging money with her. He then asked if I would be making it a habit of coming to this gym. When I said no as I am from a different country he said great and walked away.. I was completely mortified. I paid to be there and felt completely disrespected and uncomfortable the rest of the workout.

Enquiring of a day pass to understand the layout of this spa before joining, I entered their website to view the rates. They advertise a day pass! Ideal. Then the interogation begins! Firstly, my postcode. Didn't exist, then my address! Didn't exist. Not great. Then back to the start. Found my town from the displayed list and applied for day pass .... Prices start from£15, this is great. However, then I am asked for full detail. Name, address, home number, mobile number, do I wanted to be contacted with offers? Er, no. I want to know a price for a day pass. Is that so difficult? I closed the site before I get called for membership or who knows what! Perhaps I should have just called the club, but if one gets the third degree from the website, I wasn't prepared to be possibly sold to via the phone. I will check out the many other clubs in town with more transparent pricing!

This gym has changed my life for the better. Very welcoming and good facilities. Ellie, personal trainer and Jason, who does deep tissue massage, are fantastic.

It's well looked after. Really good facilities. It's.good that there are also swimming lessons for kids here hosted by Rebecca Adlington the Olympic gold medal winning freestyler. The cafe has nice coffee and enjoyed the fruit smoothies.
