Excellent location. The trainers are more than happy to spend the time to make sure you get it right. Everyone should definitely give it a go, you will be hooked. Best gym in Shrewsbury.

Friendly place with great trainers who have the balance right between pushing you and perfecting technique, so your workouts are safe. Couldn't ask for a better place to train. Would recommend it to everyone! 😃

Do you already go to a normal gym?? Do you think you are fit?? Well let me tell you, your not until you have experienced CrossFit SY1. I visited the gym today and first off was greeted by the extremely warm and welcoming staff. They certainly know how to make a great first impression. After a short chat with them they showed me round the place.... Now at that point having only gone to 'normal' gym's I was thinking, " where are all the machines etc ?? ". Believe me you don't need any of that. After getting changed I was walked through all the basics that I needed to know and I was amazed at just how much I thought I knew, but actually didn't. Who would have known that actually a majority of what I had been doing at the gym all these years was actually not benefiting me really. I was being looked after by a guy called Stevan and he really knew what he was talking about. I actually felt like I learned something today as well. THE WORK OUT Now when you have been going to the gym for as long as I have when someone says " we'll start you off with a half hour work out " you find yourself thinking they are possibly underestimating u. Turns out I was very wrong. After 18 minutes of the work out I found myself at a point where the end was no longer in site.... But thanks to the encouragement (not pushiness) of Stevan I actually made it to the end (somehow). At this point I realized that after all these years of lifting weights and running machines etc...... I'm still no where near 'fit'. Summary If you want to go to a very reasonable priced gym with staff who actually know what they are talking about and who actually want to help you rather than just doing it coz that's what they are paid to do then please let me reassure you...... THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. I will now be cancelling my other gym membership of 3 years and converting to a CrossFit SY1 member....... I highly recommend everyone gives this a shot and you too will realize that you probably aren't actually as fit as you think you are.

Love it, best place in shrewsbury to really push yourself and see what you have, trainers are very freindly and have plenty of knowledge, recommend it to everyone!
