"The Bank House is nestled in the village of Hixon, just a hop, skip and a jump away from Cannock Chase AONB. The perfect place to spend the day exploring before settling down in our cosy lounge area. The Bank House Inn has recently been refurbished but hasn’t lost the charm of a cosy village pub, with low oak ceilings and log burning stoves.We are an independent pub and restaurant that is all about great food and great service. We want everyone who visits us to feel like they’re coming home and our warm, welcoming atmosphere is the perfect place to unwind. Our team of lovely staff are always happy to see you and will ensure you, your friends and family have the best possible time."

Just called in for a drink in the sun dog walking with my wife. Always a friendly face and welcome smile nice new décor looks good and comfy!! Booked meal for 16 people for sons birthday and a night out for mine. Looking forward to both
9 of us had Sunday Lunch for a family birthday. The meal was superb, beautifully cooked and expertly served. Friendly, efficient service in comfortable and cosy surroundings. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Bank House to our friends - a definite 5 stars from us!

Nice village pub, Drinks prices are on the high side which makes it a healthy pub as you only have one drink. Food is good but not served every day. Friendly staff.
Staff very friendly, nothing to much trouble, food is amazing and really fresh, been twice now looking forward to going again.
We had a lovely meal at the Bank House this Thursday evening. Although busy they managed to fit us in we had not booked. The crispy pork belly bites to start were simply beautiful wish they did them as a main! Main courses really stunning quality and big portions. Super friendly and helpful staff. Will be back.
We have just moved to Hixon so this was our first experience of the Bank House. We had heard good things and booked last minute for 7pm. The pub/restaurant is really quirky with low beams and a traditional feel. Everyone was extremely friendly including the customers when we arrived. We were shown our table and served very quickly. There was always someone around to ask for more drinks so you didn’t have to wait. Our food arrived and it was great. There is a good menu for adults and a selection of suitable dishes for kids. For three of us I think our bill came to around £81 which included a few jack Daniel’s and cokes. Overall great value, quality food and excellent customer service.
