I purchased a triton thicknesser approximately 8 weeks ago. I did not use it straight away due to myself being ill. Approximately 5/6 days later I used it . It worked really well. 4/5 days later I noticed that the bottom plate on which the timber runs along was (dented). I rang Bamford trading spoke to a female who was very polite and friendly, after explaining about the problem she informed me that she knew nothing about the problem and suggested I contact the technical dept. I wasn't impressed that i had to deal with it. I emailed the technical side who advised me to send them a picture. I received an email from the technical dept a few days later stating with what he saw in the picture there was a fault and suggested I go through the returns procedure. I rang Triton about the fault who told me to ring the shop where I purchased it from due to me not registering the appliance (Which I didn't know I had to). I have just found the registration in the manual for the machine on which I didn't need to look at the manual being the machine was easy to use. I rang Bamford trading again spoke to the female who was not impressed with triton and stated whether the machine was registered or not there is still a 12 month guarantee warranty, at the present she is trying to get triton to pick it up, at the moment i have got a thicknesser which I cannot use and I paid £280. There is no way I will buy any product from triton. Regards Kelvin
