Charming traditional pub oozing character, slightly hidden away just off Northcote Road. Between a fine choice of beers, board games and good size beer garden, it’s a good choice if you find yourself between Balham and Clapham Junction. A proper pub!! With impeccably kept real ales. Service is second to none, too. Ranmore and Shere drop appear to be regulars, which is rather fantastic!
Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay, journeyed from Hackney and it was well worth it for the 2 pints of Shere Drop is this the only place in London that sells it?. If I had stayed longer I would of found it difficult to leave but moved onto the Sultan. Great beer, great staff, great pub!

Stepping into the Eagle is a lot like walking into an episode of Minder or the Sweeney, the chat, culture and characters fill this proper pub often to bursting point. A wet led backstreet gem, soak up the atmosphere whilst downing incredibly well kept beers.
Excellent proper pub. Brilliant beer selection. Pies and crisps a plenty and the most genuine atmosphere in South West London.
Great Local pub tucked away off the main drag at Clapman. Winner of many CAMRA awards for its real Ale, and rightfully so based on this visit
Very warm and welcoming staff and clients. Good quality Guinness and choice of whiskeys and rum. Great added bonus of a beer garden.
My new local and even before moving here was one of my favourite pubs in south London. Excellent range of beers, friendly and inviting staff, good crowd, and great outdoor spaces front and back. A top tier London pub.
The only pub Chinese Elvis plays, where you see him for free in London. I know this for a fact, since I make the rules! This video was taken on Chinese New Year, 2023. Packed. Amazing atmosphere.
