Super comfortable atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff with great food! One of the best meals we had in Ireland!Food: 5/5
I Remember when this pub was a great local..... sadly it looks very dated now ...
Beautiful place, very very friendly staff, amazing pints stellar Guinness, great atmosphere. Can't recommend this place enough for one looking for a nice quiet drink.
Darts nights Tuesdays. Well worth going down for. A great pint of Guinness. Off licence on site too which is good.
Cocktails and food are good but very overpriced. Finished my very first cocktail at this bar. Fun times with friends. Ordered some fries which came with mayo and had a very hard time getting it redone without mayo. For something that costed me 5 euro and them 20c to remake. Overall cosy atmosphere and outdoor seating for smoking and those unvaccinated.
I visit bakers corner pub and off-licence almost daily. The staff in both the off-licence and the bar itself are all wonderful. Except for one. I dread going in and seeing her working, as every time she’s there, my friends and I are ignored by her. Her attitude is horrendous towards many non-Irish students and other patrons and both my friends and I have heard her insult me to other bar staff and other customers when she was unaware we could hear her. In the last year of going to bakers, I have been served by her a maximum of 5 times, as she frequently ignores me and my friend group. I would understand if we were particularly messy or disruptive or disrespectful but we are not, and have frequently tried to make polite conversation with her. She is downright ignorant and unhelpful and quite obviously racist. Other patrons have not only noticed this, but have also expressed that they find her attitude obnoxious and entitled. As someone that works in the service industry, this behaviour is unacceptable. That being said, every other member of staff has been nothing but kind and helpful to us, and I feel has built a rapport with my friends and I as customers. A particular group of helpful staff members include Jamie, Trish, Sarah, Ryan and Leanne. They’ve been helpful, positive and I’ve heard great things about them all from other students and friends of mine
Absolutely amazing cause you can get delicious pizza ordered to the pub.
Decent place ticks all the boxes plenty of parkin
Great crack, staff are brilliant . Just love the place.
They want to knock it down and build apartments would spoil the place and surrounding
