Warm and welcoming staff. Warm and welcoming pub. Steak pie is amazing and it's a proper steak pie not stew with puff pastry. Only reason it's not 5/5 staff slow to take orders I waited 25 mins then had to approach staff member. But under present circumstances can be expected so it's a four and a half stars. I will definitely be back

Fantastic great space. Great food and service with a smile. Highly recommend this venue.

Friendly pub in the Merchant City area housed in a fantastic old building with columned entrance, high ceilings and loads of period features. Friendly landlady, good choice of ales and other beers. All laid out with space so you can have a private conversation. Nice and quiet early on a Sunday evening especially.
