A different little bar in Candleriggs Glasgow, with a dj playing very smoochy music, a eclectic clientèle with old and young and the lighting giving the place a disco feel. It was Pride day in Glasgow and there were a lot of gay people here, and since there were a lot of obviously non gays I am not sure of the normal clientèle here. The service was as you would expect and the prices were reasonable
We were in here on Saturday for my 60th Birthday, fantastic day, great bar staff and the entertainment was amazing, I would definitely recommend Merchant Pride for the best day/night out.Service: 5/5

Great afternoon in the Merchant listening to Barbara B, booked a table as my aunt was home from America and Barbara kept her going during the pandemic. Always has been a good bar with great service thanks to John & Paul, looking forward to many more great afternoons

Nice enough. It's obviously had some work done in the past but has a bit of a "dive bar" feel. They made a lovely effort in decorating the place for my friend's wedding but wouldn't allow children in for the private function at all. The sound system was terrible and the music was more miss than hit.
Brilliant night, music is superb, Barbara's voice is incredible. Staff are friendly and professional. Looking forward to coming back
Asked for a water as I had college the next day and the bar tender gave me the dirtiest look I’ve ever seen. Actually rolled her eyes and scoffed at me. Blonde, older woman. Only giving two stars instead of one because the rest of the staff seemed nice. Shame about the rude leather boot masquerading as a bar tender.
Fantastic atmosphere & live entertainment... you can also have a wee dance.. Had a fantastic late afternoon there with my friends...staff a delight...fast & efficient service...would go back & also recommend ...
