Looking for a hose compatible with a newly bought Kartcher pressure washer and was helped by a member of staff called Darren. He put together a 40m hose on a reel in store which took about 10 minutes which saved me an hours work back home with any number of water disasters. All the while he fielded questions from other shoppers and nothing seemed too much trouble.

B&Q as a shop is very good, has high quality products at good prices. However the staff is horrible. I wanted to buy shelving unit the other night online but checked my nearest store if they have it on stock(they did) When i went there to buy they had only white ones on the shelf and i asked a lady if they have these but in oak effect which she straight away said they don't but i told her the website said you have it on stock then she scanned it and it said that they did have it on stock(it was probably above the shelves because I've seen there was 6 packages of shelving units laying there-but you couldn't check the colour of them) She went to get a  man to go on the machine that goes up because it was very high. After 20 minutes of waiting someone came with the machine (it was  a man that was working in the paint department ) He went up looked at the first 3 packages(without scanning) and went down and said they have only white ones. As i mentioned before you couldn't check what colour it was. There was other heavy items laying on the packages so i guess he wasn't bothered take them off. After coming down I've asked him if he checked probably and how did he check it because you couldn't see the colour unless you take them out of the shelves. He said i checked i said how he kept saying he checked without answering my question how. 

Ended up going to other B&Q.

DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR BY MAN THAT IS WORKING IN THE PAINT DEPARTMENT.    IT WAS ON THE 28/11/17 AROUND 12PM.

I was standing for 30 minutes for any staff to helping me ,no body came  ,rubbish staffs ,and they are not respect the customers who is (Usha) her name which is staff there ,she is Indian ,she is very roud .i swear I will not going there any more in my life

Quality service from the paint mixing section. I unfortunately didn't take the assistants name but he was a n Indian man maybe in his late 40s.  Very helpful and friendly

I bought a hedge trimmer from this b&q. I took it home and opened it up on my lawn to use it and found that the power cord was cut in half! When I tried to return it they treated me like I was guilty and told me that they would never allow that hedge trimmer to be sold like that. I guess they have x-ray vision and can see through cardboard boxes! Then because I opened it on my lawn some of the grass clippings were stuck to the bottom of the trimmer, they said that was proof that it had been used. I had the trimmer for 2 hours before returning it! I told him I'm not trying to get money back, I just want one that works! Finally they gave up there lame attempt to blame me and let me exchange it. Not exactly great customer service. I will not buy anything from here again that I can not see completely. Or I'll ask one of there x-ray enabled "super" staff to help.
