Story

AZ is an intimate family run Turkish restaurant offering a kitchen of
Treasured recipes handed down from generations of Mehmet Hassan lineage.

Fresh ingredients enhanced with authentic herbs and spices, present flawless ottoman culture flavours with delicious Anatolian subtleties.


We are open Tuesday to Thursday 5:00 - 9:00 (Last Orders), Friday and Saturday 5.30 - 9:30 (Last Orders) and Sunday 5:30 - 9:00 (Last Orders). Click here for our menu

Established in 2010 by the owner Mehmet Ali Mehmet the restaurant offers an exotic opportunity to dine in romantic Turkish surroundings and savour a truly memorable culinary experience.

Our first time eating at this restaurant and it won't be the last. I nearly didn't go as the chairs are wooden and having a bad back in have to be very picky where I eat. Cushions were provided after a quick telephone call and were even warmed up on the radiator for me! The menu is extensive and the food is absolutely fantastic! Tiramasu for pudding was the best we have ever tasted. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Best food in Scarborough. Good service. They let us in out of the cold 20 minutes before opening.
