Hired a few cars in UK, Portugal, Spain, US with Avis – very friendly and speedy service (special thanks to Dianne in Nottingham branch and Dan on Twitter support for their help!), cars are always in great condition and reasonably priced.

Unable to give zero stars - made a booking, called to make an amendment. Spent 1hr 45 minutes "first in the queue" but no answer, customer services unable to contact branch directly. Cancelled and booked elsewhere.

Truly amazing service ! This rental exceed my expectations a smooth rental check in, with friendly staff who go above and beyond with any information or help you need. A great 24 hour return service also but be warned the small car park does fill up quick for out of hours returns. Avis Nottingham standards are extremely high.

Good customer service. The guy who served me on Monday was thorough and kept his cool even though there were lots of customers and just 1 person at reception. Avis & Budget, you need at least 2 people at reception. Don't overwork the decent staff you have

Booked a car for the weekend and paid extra for it to be delivered. No one showed up or even bothered to contact me. Called the office on Monday and they showed no remorse.. Avoid at all costs
