Substandard, worn out and not worth the price it's charging.nWe booked a premium balcony room at a rate at nearly £200 per night. Breakfast not included.nThe first night we had a disco right underneath our room. It was like sitting on a sub woofer for hours. The disco gladly finished at 11pm abs the peace returned. I spoke to reception who were really polite, said they couldn't do anything unril the following day has offered another room on the third floor, as there was a wedding booked for the following day.nThe room we moved to seem to have a lovely view, though it was difficult to see past the amount of bird crap over all of the windows.nThe toilet seat was loose, sink cracked and the left basin blocked. There was a terrible smell from the drains.nOn the plus side. The beds were comfy. The rooms were clean and the room service was good.nI wouldn't stay here again.
So much to say about this hotel. Firstly, it’s situated in the most perfect spot, its view is undeniably beautiful, but it’s also close by to pretty much everything, the beach, the shops! We had an ocean view from our room and to be able to just look out whilst you’re getting ready or having a shower or even on the toilet is just like wow! You feel like you’re living the dream. The hotel itself is so cosy, so warm; the decor is early 1900’s vibe, think titanic, but definitely not dirty or dusty, clean and has a lot of personality. The lift was not working when we stayed, and we were on the 3rd floor, however the staff were more than happy to help us where needed. We ordered breakfast to our room, a full English, which was accompanied by hot fresh coffee & milk. I feel it’s overpriced for the amount you get, but it’s just nice to experience room service and being served up breakfast in the morning! To be able to just come out of the front doors, go round the corner and watch the beautiful sunset over the cliffs is just an absolute stunning experience, there were benches along the cliff and you could just sit there for hours or climb up to the top off the cliff edge. Me and my partner had the best time and were so sad to leave, we will be coming back!
Spent 3 nights for my 30th. Everything was amazing! The hotel staff are amazing, very polite and friendly. I loved them. The rooms were a bit out dated, but everything worked. The rooms were not screaming fancy or anything. It was ok for me. Indoor pool and outdoor pool were amazing to. The lift was working during my stay. I had breakfast included and that was amazing! I really have no complaints! I will definitely return
great location, but my room was appalling the balcony was locked off and when asked for the key to cool down the room they said it was under repair so my room was about 30 degrees, the location is beautiful though.nnthe whole hotel is trying to be more than it is the reception and downstairs are trying to be very posh but the fit and finish of the rooms was very poor and cheap feeling wonky sockets and switches really awful furnishings ultimately a wolf in sheep clothing of a hotel to stay innnand a additional note what kind of place charges £20 for a breakfast
I did not stay at the hotel, just had an afternoon spa session but i cannot fault the service and the place in general!! Breath taking views as you're waiting, everything you need is steps away and the atmosphere is nothing short of relaxing! Just walking into the hotel theres always something to cast your eye upon. Natasha is faultless and makes you feel at ease right away, even if you have never had a spa treatment before and explains how your skin is and what is recommended for you. The price is so reasonable too! Would definitely go again!
