From the moment we arrived, such a lovely warm welcome by the front of house !nnThis is our favourite seafood restaurant and it never disappoints. We have severalnfavourites on the menu, but today we both decided to order from the specials board.nnSkewered prawns in garlic butter, on a sour dough crouton sitting on a bed of mixed tomato salsa - Absolutely deliciousnnThen for our mains - Whole Newquay bay lobster with a seafood sauce, served with a mixed salad and fries.nThe lobsters, were simply amazing !! Superb food, prepared and served by a great team.nnI’d also like to thank the whole team for making our wedding anniversary lunch so special.
We loved the fish house!nnIt has an open kitchen so you can watch the chefs preparing your food.nnOur waitress was brilliant and the views of the bay were spectacular.nnThe linguine was loaded with seafood and the shared platter had a bit of everything.nnI would recommend this place to anyone visiting Newquay.
I had a fantastic lunch at The Fish House Fistral, located right by the sea. The view was breathtaking, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was fresh and flavorful, perfectly complementing the ocean breeze. The staff was attentive and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful seaside lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!
Absolutely spectacular place.nnFood stunning.nnOne of those places I'd give a 6th star to.nnThe views over Fistral Bay are beautiful.nnThe service was exemplary. Friendly, happy, plenty of time between courses.nnFood on another level.nnFish Tacos and Squid were fantastic to start.nnSean Bass and Roasted Hake mains were beautiful. Fish cookery of the highest level.nnEven snuck a Butterscotch Sundae pudding in which was divine, though made the walk up the hill back into Newquay a bit tougher than it should have been.nnBook a table here if you love seafood with a view, in a relaxed welcoming environment.nnI feel like selling up, moving to Newquay and coming here for the specials every day!
Charming little place.nnThis restaurant is small but amazing with fantastic views of the ocean.nnWalked in and was greeted and shown to our table, the waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu and specials.nnHad the open scallops to start, they were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing with the crisp ham giving it a nice crunch texture.nnHad the roast hotshell for the main, with a side of fries, only ordered the small bit it was plenty big enough. Everything was fresh and well cooked.nnTo finish I had the pavlova, strawberries had a lovely crunch to them, the meringue and a nice chew and the clotted cream give it a nice touch of dairy, perfect.
