Sunday lunch was amazing, we had the roast beef and pie. Lots of choices. Extra roast potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire if required at no extra cost. Dog friendly. Service and customer care was spot on. Really welcoming and friendly staff. Great location.Food: 5/5
Went to the Red Lion for a valentines day lunch with my partner and daughter. We decided to give a couple of the new items on the menu, both starters and mains, and we thoroughly enjoyed them, along with the stunning views! The pub has recently changed hands and if the food is anything to go by, it's a change for the better! Lunchtime - Steak Sandwich incredible value for money. Peroni and Heineken on tap too, what more do you want. We Can't wait to go back for the food and live music nights!
Excellent food, we went for Sunday lunch and it was lovely. It does get very busy at Sunday lunchtime, so it's good to book a table, but you can call in on the chance of an available one.Food: 5/5
Came to Red Lion for a Sunday dinner. Great location, Fantastic food Roast Turkey, Mushroom Wellington and 2 kids meals, they were all cooked to perfection and delicious Staff were polite and provided an excellent service. I would highly recommend the Red Lion for a decent meal and drinks for all the family. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Many Thanks!

Visited today with my partner and dog. Thai and Katie helped me pick some great food & it was amazing!!! Thanks to the chefs & staff for a great visit!!! Would recommend the steak and venison pie and a doggy bowl from their dog stand! We loved it. Food: 5/5
Fabulous pub with amazing views over the harbour. Plenty of seating indoor and out. Dog and family friendly. The food looked delicious and service was excellent. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for another drink and bite to eatFood: 5/5
Good local beer and cider with a nice view along the coast. Great atmosphere with a local musician playing. Unfortunately the Sunday Roasts and other food we wanted to order were all sold out by the time we arrived in the evening - probably a testament to how popular this pub is.Atmosphere: 5/5
Great little pub a few minutes walk from where we was staying, it was recommended by both Google and the place we are staying as a good pub which is also dog friendly. On arrival it both inside and outside look like your average pub & grub boozer. Find a table and order at the bar, there is an app on the back of the menu but I couldn't find how to order on the app after making an account, only how to book a table. Bar staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on both food and drink side. The table staff was also friendly and even greeted the dog. The meal was great, no complaints, all fresh, hot and delicious. Very good portion sizes. I had prawn starter & steak an chips and my partner had chicken skewers & hunters chicken. Only downside is the pub is a very big drinking pub and it got a little bit too loud at one time but not the pubs fault, happy to see places like this supported and busy. The food wasn't great. Two meals had to be remade, and one was sent back again, even after it was recooked. There was a 45 - 60 minute wait for the food. The services was great, and it was a nice spacious pub.
