Atkinson McLeod has been a great agency to rent a property with, the process with them is very smooth. Also their maintenance team is very helpful if you face any issues with the property. I would like to explicitly mention Angel from the maintenance team who was very kind and patient with us during our tenure and supported us with all the queries and issues we had, would recommend from personal experience.
WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I am warning everyone to stay away from ATKINSON MCLEOD Agency! Without a doubt, this is the worst agency I have ever dealt with. This agency is renting apartments without basic and essential health and safety checks. They rent apartments that have been recently 'refurbished' to only present well for viewing, however still not fit for rent. As safe and free from health hazards checks have not been completed, it was unavoidable for me to experience significant health issues and high-stress levels. If the correct checks were in place, the apartment wouldn't be on the market! Money is the only priority in their 'books,' As soon you pay the deposit and the money, THEY are happy. The moment things go wrong from the tenants' point of view, the agency does not provide any support and leaves you alone to fend for yourself. Robert Paul Lettings Manager. Absolutely Shockingly incompetent!! I will advise you demand to see valid gas/electrical certificate and EPC minimum rating D before you commit yourself or sign a new tenancy agreement contract.
I've been renting with Atkinson McLeod for almost 2 years now. I am happy with their service as agents, in terms of property management, inspections, contract extensions etc. My initial engagement with Atkinson McLeod was for a year and a half. I decided to extend further. Previously Elena and now Angel as property managers have been extremely helpful with very prompt updates and follow ups around any issues that I've faced and have helped resolve them at the earliest. I look forward to the rest of my engagement and further with Angel and Atkinson McLeod.
Atkinson McLeod manage and let a property for me and have done a great job so far. I don't live in the UK anymore and Shakil has done a great job to manage the property in the meantime, dealing with escalation from tenants in a timely and professional manner and always keeping me updated when any issues have been resolved. We've been renting from Atkinson Mcleod for the past year and a half and I cannot rate Arshia Khan highly enough. She's been a wonderful property manager for us - besides being on top of any issues with the property and solve them in a timely manner, she made sure to check in with us and communicate any updates or changes. Needless to say, she's made our life a lot easier in the past few months with her willingness to go above and beyond.
I am writing to express my disappointment with the decline in the quality of your services over the last two years. In the past, I was impressed with the prompt response times and proactive approach to addressing any issues. However, in recent months, I have found that it takes much longer to get a response from your team, and when I do finally hear back, the solutions offered are often inadequate or lacking attention to detail. The people here now only interested in getting management fees from landlord in advance and not provide any service. I understand that the past year has been challenging for everyone, but I believe that this is no excuse for the decline in your services. I am writing to express my hope that your company will take this feedback to heart and work to improve the quality of your services in the future.
I cannot rate Chris highly enough. As far as Property Managers go he has by far been the best I’ve dealt with, his willingness to solve issues in a timely manner and fantastic communication skills have been making our leasing very easy. Chris has been so helpful and always goes above and beyond.
Elena Cosciug is a great property manager. Any issues I have had no matter how small or big she has dealt with it quickly and efficiently. She has even visited the flat out of hours to resolve an issue I was having. She replies to my emails very quickly, she is very friendly whether its on the phone or in person and always happy to help. When I first moved in, I had a different property manager who did not reply to me at all, however once Elena took over it has been nothing but a pleasant experience. She is even friendly with my annoyingly needy dog :
We had a pleasure to have Martina as our agent. She is a very trustworthy person what is very rare nowadays. Martina was always picking up the calls and responding to every single message and email. She was negotiating on our behalf with the landlord with 100% positive results. She kept us updated throughout the whole process. Martina is great as the agent and even better as the person - very understanding, helpful and kind!
Atkinson Mcleod have been managing my property for over 10 years and I find their service very professional. Recently, an emergency at the property was managed in a professional and timely manor by Angel Singh. Greatly appreciated, thank you.
