I've had the gluten free pizza here a couple of times. They do a fantastic job with the dough. The sauce is fine - not great, but not bad. The cheese gets lost in it - it is hard to taste at all. It is a fine pizza but could be a lot better pretty easily. The tiramisu is also gluten free and is fantastic. Really, really good. The atmosphere is really terrific as well. Recommended, but just wish the pizza were a little better because getting the crust right is the hardest part.
Beautiful dining room with amazing light converted from the old chapel. Food is good value for the standard with an extensive children's menu. Great drinks list with a very long and thoughtful low and no alcohol section. Service was slow.
The pizza and burrata were amazing! Lovely atmosphere. I would suggest double checking and cleaning the tea pots. Mine had a mixture of black tea and fresh mint tea. Only fresh mint was ordered. I would imagine someone didnt rinse the teapot properly. Overall, good experience. Would visit again.
Went in for a midweek coffee - place was busy but not full. We waited 20minites after sitting down, no menus, no offer to take an order, and when I asked at the host desk if we ordered there I was told someone would come over.nnWaited some more and watched others who arrived after us be served and attended to.nnWe left without placing an order, which is a shame as the building is beautiful and the pastries looked amazing.
A converted chapel, the space is light and airy. Staff were efficient and friendly. We came for a light lunch. As it was coming to Christmas I had the pigs in blankets with a side of fries. Both delicious.nnCoffee was good, if a little on the cook side!
